"I understand that the restaurant may be short-staffed, but our experience was disappointing. We were told there would be a delay when we arrived, and after finally being seated in the basement dining room, we had to ask for water and menus after waiting for 25 minutes. Our order took a long time to arrive, and when we inquired about it, we were treated rudely and told the kitchen was far behind. When our food did arrive, the hamburger patties were cut in half. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were met with indifference and excuses about the lack of staff. We ended up spending over 2 hours and 45 minutes at the restaurant. Hopefully, with more staff, the service will improve. This was our experience that we wanted to share."

"Privacy? Not here, sleep? Not unless everyone else is sleeping! Walls are so thin I could hear EVERY word my upstairs neighbors were saying they were up til 2 a.m, I felt like I was part of the conversation. When we first arrived there was a domestic going on in the room below us, again I could here every F word used (he also was not happy to be here either, I heard him say that When we made a complaint they said they were aware of it but did nothing.The room itself was okay we had a few good hours while the upstairs neighbors were gone. The double jacuzzi was great, the fireplace was nice I really enjoyed the town. Maybe don't stay in room 7? Definitely will come back to the Afton area. Just NOT to the Afton Inn."

"I typically like to visit a restaurant multiple times before I write a review, understanding that not every visit will be perfect. However, after our experience at this restaurant, I don't think we'll be returning. The edamame was decent, but the avocado wontons were served cold and unimpressive. The Linguine Caprese with chicken was overly acidic and also cold, accompanied by bread that smelled like lighter fluid. The turkey burger was not good. The 10oz. Sirloin was initially overcooked, then undercooked on a second attempt 20 minutes later. The desserts were average. The Shrimp Boom Boom flatbread and sweet potato fries were the standout dishes. The high top tables were uncomfortable and didn't fit the atmosphere of a wine bar. It took multiple requests for water refills, but wine and cocktails were replenished quickly, giving the impression that we were being ignored for not spending more money. The check had to be corrected twice. Overall, a disappointing experience."
