"My experience began with an online order placed through their website, followed by a frustrating 1.5-hour wait for pickup. This aspect of their business model is quite concerning. I would hesitate to make a reservation or order online here; I can easily picture being stuck waiting over two hours for a meal. I spent $50 on smoked chicken and brisket, both of which were overcooked and lacking in flavor, accompanied by uninspiring sides. As soon as I picked up the order, the overwhelming smell of smoke gave me a bad feeling about the meats. Unfortunately, my instincts were correct—both the chicken and brisket were completely flavorless. The chicken, which was meant to be organic, was unseasoned and had leathery skin, which is frankly unacceptable. The brisket, while it could pass the bending test, also had no flavor. The sides were equally disappointing. The “Just Peachy Beet Salad” didn’t contain any beets, and their cornbread was the worst I’ve ever tasted—overcooked and toasted to the point of being a “corn-brick.” The mac and cheese was another letdown. I truly believe this restaurant is trying too hard but failing to deliver quality food. I only tried the BBQ, which should be a strong point in any restaurant, and it did not live up to expectations. The chefs might benefit from visiting some standout eateries in the Bay Area and Sacramento to expand their flavor profiles. Additionally, the owners should consider streamlining their menu and honing their focus. The name "Apricot Wood" seems more appropriate, especially given that Patterson is known as the 'Apricot Capital of the World.' Since the restaurant is operating in its second phase, I would be willing to stop by to offer some culinary advice, particularly regarding the use of seasonings and marinades, or to suggest restaurants for the staff to visit for inspiration. Nevertheless, I don’t see myself returning. For the amount I spent, I could easily find a smaller business that offers a more enjoyable and flavorful dining experience."

"Ordered online for pick up. It's not through door dash. Had to pay extra for lettuce wraps and instead of letting us know when we picked up, they just put a bun on it and said nothing. It's for dietary reason we had the lettuce wrap. For some reason the cashier made us talk to the chef. No idea why. I could care less about the reason, I wanted my money back and it wasn't offered. They said the next time we come in we can get the lettuce. Seriously?! Also ordered a bacon burger, which didnt have bacon in it. It had something that looked like bacon but definitely didnt taste like bacon. We think it was pastrami sliced to look like bacon. It was super thin, and really red. The other burger we ordered had all the condiments we didnt ask for on it. This isn't the first time our food has been messed up. So if you have a dietary restriction or allergy, dont expect this place to make your food as ordered. Theyre gonna make it how they want to make it and not tell you. Gonna call our bank and deal with it that way."

"Terrible service. We placed our order and confirmed several times that it was complete, and we were assured it was. However, when we checked the bag in the car, we found that half of our order was missing. I looked at the receipt, and they still charged us for the food we never received. This has happened multiple times, and we’re fed up with it."

"Hello I'm sending and sharing these to this restaurant chain owner of these specific franchise, how extremely disappointed I am experienced extremely bad during my visit for the first time ever in these KFC location. Wondering still open to served the public and operate their business to the customers, as well to the community in this area. Health Department should closed KFC business in these location sooner the better, before customers get sick and spreading the virus to the community. It shocked me when we are badly to stopped by this KFC, to order our food after traveling from Hollywood heading home, we are excited to get our favorite a buckets of chicken. First and foremost, when we came in, OMG!!!unexplainable, when i look down and look around while walking inside. First thing i've noticed the floor was very dirty almost can not see the colors of the tiles, but seem grease all over the floor, restrooms, all the tables are unclean hardly fine one that clean. Underneath the counter where they pass the orders, very dirty cups, papers plastics utensils clutters underneath the counter.The restaurant at the time visited only two customers ordering and the couple dine-in. It was Monday about 5pm. The register is under the cashier's name Mariam. But it was a man who took our order. We just took a littl bite of our food and left, that was our extremely bad experienced at KFC Restaurant #E720451, its too bad its a sister company of the company i used to work. We have the job through our customers, so serve and treat the customers the way you wanted to be serve and treated. No customers? no business! and NO JOB!! good luck for the transformation along the way. I suppose to rate zero if there is, not even deserve to have one star, but it wouldnt allow me to write my comment."
