"Had great food and beer, really enjoyed the burger and sweet potato fries. One of the members of our party had a spice allergy to which she informed the waiter. However, when the food came the dressing with a side greens was spicy which wasn’t edible due to the allergy. We asked the waiter if it had any pepper or spice in it and he said no, other members of the table tried the sauce and agreed that there was indeed spice in it. At this point, no big deal, easy mistake to make as a waiter all he needs to do is just replace the small side of greens with no sauce! Which is exactly what we asked for next. However, he said he could do that but would have to charge for the greens. Extremely abnormal to do so especially with something as cheap as side lettuce. We said that normally a restaurant would do this for free or the server would just automatically bring it back to the kitchen and replace it no questions asked, however the waiter responded with “excuse you, the dressing has no spice.” Extremely unprofessional, while the kid was young, he still should not have acted that way. He also offered to give us the recipe to prove there was no spice however, when we said that would be great he said actually I can’t give you the recipe. Really a shame because the food was great, just never seen this level of unprofessionalism at a restaurant. For future reference, if someone has a food allergen and the waiter does not know, it’s no big deal to make a mistake but in practice, the customer is always right, having worked as a waiter myself I know this. Just replace the probably half a dollar salad which would take 2 minutes and all would be fine. Waiter was super nice outside of this instance, so weird!"

Steak sandwich special had little meat and was full of fat. Too much sauce ruined the sandwich. We were given dirty water glasses.

What a nice stop! The patio is so comfortable and inviting with laid back piped in music! This is a must stop for a nice cold beer, delicious food, and super friendly staff!!!

The best experience we’ve had in Bend. Dave J was fantastic- attentive, knowledgeable, helpful but not intrusive. The food (sliders and a flatbread) were excellent, and the beer was top notch.

I have tried to go to this location 5 seperate times now. Everytime the hours are incorrect on Google and I get there and they are closed. Tonight they are supposedly open til 11pm; I arrive at 9:20 and they are closing and locked the doors. View menu

Sun River Galveston was our go to place for myself and two friends. We were there 2 to 3 times a month for the past 4 years. Like always the beer is good but first they did away with the nachos and then the brew house pretzel which were our favorites. The flat breads are average. We advised our waiter on these issues and he thought they might bring them back as we weren't the only ones complaining. Unfortunately we haven't been back in months.

We have been coming to the Galveston pub since the days of the calzone Rueben sandwich. We’ve seen good food items disappear off the menu…that happens. But our last few visits have been sadly lacking. Website menu doesn’t match the actual menu. The actual menu had several items that they were “out of.” They didn’t even have pepperoni for the kid’s flatbread pizza! They had just blown the keg on the beer I wanted. The fries were way too salty and my “go-to” waygu sliders were over-done and dry. Wait staff is always nice and pleasant but time from ordering to delivery seems to have gotten worse.
