"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sushi Jo!!!! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years! We come so often, in fact, that we now know all of the servers, and they know us, personally. It's like having a home away from home! Not only do they have the BEST sushi in Boynton Beach, hands down!!!! It's ALWAYS fresh, ALWAYS amazing, and now, we don't really even need to order! We simply sit at our usual table outside and any one of the servers we know and love will promptly come out and ask us if we want our usual (which is almost always edamame with salt on, large sake, eel avocado roll and sometimes if we're hungry enough we add another hamachi avocado roll . Unfortunately, for me, I am highly allergic to shellfish, so I cannot have many of the rolls offered on the menu. I do know from close friends who also frequent Sushi Jo that any of the other amazing rolls on their menu are AWESOME! The only drawback of Sushi Jo is how small the inside of the restaurant is. This is why no matter what time of year, my boyfriend and I will sit outside and brave the humidity. After all, once we've shared 2 sakes and added the heat of lots of Wasabi the humidity doesn't seem to matter much anymore ?! As long as Sushi Jo is there we will ALWAYS be patrons! If you haven't tried Sushi Jo in Boynton Beach (they have other locations, I know of one on Belvedere Rd in West Palm Beach but have never gone in. I actually pass it on my way home from work you are thoroughly missing out! I have been to multiple different sushi restaurants in the Boynton Beach area and NONE, not a single one compares to the quality and price of Sushi Jo! When we add in the warmth of the servers who know us and take care of us like we're the only people in the restaurant (and I promise you that we're not! There's simply no reason I can find to EVER go anywhere else for awesome sushi (unless I want to drive 30 minutes to Boca! Thank you so much, everyone at Sushi Jo! We love you so much! We'll keep coming back as long as you keep your doors open and your sushi AWESOME!!!! ? Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options! Be advised to read the menu as they aren't marked, the last time I checked. But, if you want something done special then simply ask if the sushi chefs can make it for you Dietary restrictions: ALWAYS MENTION SERIOUS FOOD ALLERGIES TO YOUR SERVERS!!! I am deathly allergic to shellfish and carry 2 epi-pens. They don't always work ENOUGH and I learned this the hard way. Don't let it happen to you, PLEASE! Parking: Parking lot can fill up during events and holidays. Be aware. There is a garage across the street in the residential building but you must pay for parking there and they fill up with beach goers."

The lady that runs the spot is always on point. The minute she leaves I may stop going. Great service. Great food.

Way overpriced for totally average Publix supermarket quality sushi…keep going further south to Delray sushi spots!

Sushi was pretty basic. This place is not trustworthy. They added extra dollars to the tip that I left. That’s theft.

We had a pretty rough experience doing takeout. We spent about $75 and to be honest, I would not want it again if it was $20. The fish was not fresh at all, the Tuna was super dark, almost like I was served part of the bloodline. I fish and have used Bonita strips to fish with that were more appetizing then the tuna. If krab is your thing, this is probably the spot for you, but if you appreciate fresh fish I would look elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I are from out of state, came to this town for a concert and decided to check this spot out. Great menu, some basic rolls and some additional premium rolls. We REALLY enjoyed the crispy rice, actually came back the next day just to order that ? We also got the hawaiian roll, coconut shrimp, pineapple, some kind of sweet sauce and cashews different but so good!! Sad we’re not local to enjoy it again soon, but we’ll be back!

"Driftwood 's vibe feels like you 're eating at the place in Adam Sandler 's movie 50 First Dates. Hawaiian and beachy, you enter off Federal Highway and feel like you have been taken somewhere. It feels relaxed and welcoming without being overly kitschy. A 7 p.m. reservation was made on a Saturday night, and the place was filled and jamming by 7:30. You need a reservation. Cisco, our friendly waiter, was happy-go-lucky, but we had to catch him on the fly many times to place orders. They needed more help. He explained that Driftwood was all about local and fresh and that they were written up in the Palm Beach Post a while back, claiming them as one of the ten best in Palm Beach County. We were salivating, starved, and stoked. The menu is eclectic and we couldn 't make up our minds, so we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. We started with their milk bread, which is essentially warm, fresh rolls with 'everything ' seasoning. There were two butter sides; one was whipped, the other whipped with harissa. I am not a fan of either; we wished they just made it simple with regular butter. We then got sweet and sour cauliflower (a standout which was deftly fried with a sticky tangy sauce; fish and chips which came with a nice, homemade tarter sauce and a bit of pickled vegetables over a potato chip . The potato thing showed up again in a brined and grilled (sous vide and smoked? chicken breast with a mornay sauce (we had it on the side, but it was tasteless, and the chicken was spongy , and we all agreed the potato thing was a greasy cross between a knish and a latke. It did not work for us, but they are proud of that dish, as you can tell from Cisco 's description. Ultra-crispy tempura string beans with aioli was a particularly unappealing-looking hot mess of a dish but delicious nonetheless. Dry-brined chicken wings were tender and juicy, but the dusting of seasoning felt odd in our mouths. Shrimp and grits had some funky red swirl of sauce, which ruined the dish for us, and their forever staying on their menu chicken and dumplings was a fail for us, as the chicken, while there, seemed non-existent and the dumplings undercooked. The oddest part of the whole meal was the french fries, which, take it from me, were the frozen kind that you buy in the supermarket. Why? Why go through all that trouble to explain yourself as a fresh, local food spot and have frozen fries? The drinks menu was vast and geared toward fruity rum drinks. I had a beer, and my friend had a hurricane that did not taste like the New Orleans variety but a lemony, tangy cocktail. The straws were metal, which was cute. Our party decided that Driftwood tried too hard to be different. While the food was okay and sounded exciting, no one dish would drive us back. The dessert menu was strange, so we went to Carvel afterward."
