"We ordered a salmon teriyaki meal, a beef teriyaki meal, calamari, veggie tempura, and sushi. Unfortunately, the beef was quite tough with a lot of gristle. The miso soup was lacking in flavor, but the salad dressing was delicious. I’ve definitely had better sushi; the hamachi was sliced too thick for my liking. The dragon roll was just okay, and the BBQ eel classic roll was disappointing—some pieces had a strange taste, but I ate them anyway. A few hours later, I found myself spending most of the evening in the bathroom. It could have been the wasabi, which was definitely not fresh. I won’t be ordering from here again."

My Lion King roll was missing. Either the driver ate my roll or the restaurant forgot to prepare it.

I tried the green sushi and the pumpkin sushi, and the pumpkin sushi was absolutely delicious. I never feel guilty about enjoying sushi afterwards. I definitely recommend it!

Sen Dai is sooo much better! I bought a caterpillar roll. It was sweet and contained fake crab. It was not of good quality. I have had sushi all over the world. I can't figure out why all the good reviews.Food: 2/5

I had to wait but it was worth it, so I’d rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. The Beef Teriyaki Bento was cooked to perfection. The Jalapeno Bomb was flavorful and had a generous portion. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was good, and the sauce on top was delicious. View menu

I am visiting here for work and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with how good this was. The California Roll was tasty. The Sashimi Salad was impressive. Fish tasted fresh and they put plenty on. The Saba Shioyaki Bento is a must for anyone that likes Saba. I will be dining here whenever I am in town

This was my first time ordering, and I was very pleased! The teriyaki bento was delicious; the chicken was tender and moist, and the salad was crisp. The California rolls were incredibly fresh. I also enjoyed the Philadelphia Roll and Chirashi Don—they were both excellent. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Second time having them and ordered the exact same order. Quality is inconsistent, 49r roll lemon slices were inconsistent some didnt even have a lemon slice. There was a lemon seed on one. The mango crunch roll had stale tempura and destroyed the flavor of the entire roll. Not bad the first time I had it, but this second time really disappointed me. View menu

Absolutely delicious! Every time we place an order, everything arrives neatly packaged and fresh. I really appreciate how they package the Tempura Udon noodles separately from the broth. The Hotel California Roll 1 and 2 were fantastic, although I think the Gyoza might be better enjoyed at the restaurant since they were a bit soft when I had them at home. Overall, I would give it a 9 out of 10!

After a long night of work, I was craving some sushi and this restaurant, open until midnight, caught my attention. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted, and the service was outstanding. I ordered the sashimi deluxe, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and portion size of the fish, which far exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be returning here for late-night sushi in the future.

"I always go to this store as we live closeby. I always love to bring my kids in this store, and have them order their food. Yesterday, I went with my 3 yr old son (his bday) coz he wants a cake pop. I let him call the barista so she knows we're ready to order. My son said excuse me like 5 times, said hello like 3 times to get her attention coz she's talking with her coworker. She finally came up to us, my son ordered cakepops, I ordered 2 java chips and 1 mocha frappe. The baristas before were soooo nice, very friendly, welcoming but yesterday was the opposite. Btw, always sip a bit of your drinks before you leave the store coz yesterday I guess the barista who made the mocha frappe forgot to put in sugar syrup. I just found it today as my husband didn't drink his mocha frappe yesterday. Coz what if you just stopped by to get some drinks and you already left then found out something is wrong with your order. And also, they do not offer Java Chip anymore, so you gotta pay additional for the chips. The barista didn't even inform me about it, found out today when I checked the receipt online. I called in to let them know about my concerns, they offered to remake the mocha frappe. The barista who made our drinks was the one who took our order. Maybe she had a bad day. But then, I just wish the baristas will be more friendly and welcoming and inform the customer if a menu is no longer available so we have the option to change our order. "First time to Koi Palace in Milpitas, though had dined at their location in Daly City decades ago. Very disappointing.. It's on a Monday around noon, and the place was pretty filled up. The service was lousy, starting from the receptionist who practically saw us but totally ignored us, even after my husband kindly waving his hand to him in order to catch his attention. After seated, though some servers had been going back forth by our table but none would look up, stop and talked to us. Of course we had to wait for a while before being served, minimally. The 18% mandatory tip charge to the customers was totally undeserved due to the lack of acceptable, good service to their customers. We have been to a few similar restaurants (in terms of foods class) in the Peninsula area where mandatory 18% tip charge are imposed but they do provide very good service consistently to their customers. We primarily came to eat at this restaurant for their well-known dim sum and its variety. Foods served were disappointing, unfortunately, considering their high-priced tags. Siu Mai 燒賣 were not fresh; skins were tough and the meat hard to chew. Shrimp dumblings or Ha Gow 蝦餃 were okay. Tofu rolls 鮮竹卷 were acceptable. The Budda's Delight vegetarian noodles 羅漢齋麵 was made up of a large portion of noodles but only few vegetable ingredients, not worth the $24. Adding to the noise level of the place due to crowded tables (very close to each other) when it's busy, it's definitely not a pleasant dining experience at all.. Do not plan to return.."
