"Most google reviews give out 5 stars very easily, but this place deserves it. Top quality sushi I’ve only been once and the mango tango and flaming rolls were great. Tasted fresh and flavorful. Octopus ball appetizer was good as well. The wasabi was spicy as it should be, versus the watered down versions. The food came out fast, and there is a water boy walking around all the time. Good price compared to other places in Houston, my rolls were around 15 a piece but I’ve had some for 17+ for lower quality before. I’d definitely come back, and would recommend."

I give it 4 in a half! I went here a few weeks ago, the sushi is really good. It was quiet and very few people when I arrived. I'd definitely come back to grab some food to go.

I absolutely love this place! The customer service is excellent. The sushi is fresh and they always accommodate me. I literally eat here at least 3 times a week. The chicken skewers (Chicken Yakitori) are DELICIOUS. 10 stars! View menu

What a nice little sushi place! The service is friendly and the staff are accommodating. The food is great! I only had one piece of tuna nigiri with my tonkatsu, but it was the best I've had ina while! Very fresh, soft and sweet.

We tried a little bit of everything and it was all sooo good….. our fav was the Katana Roll. I mixed the house salad and the kani salad and it was perfect. They actually added more than enough dressingOur waitress was very attentiveFood came out fast and it was freshRestrooms are very clean

We frequently visit their Robata and Sushi restaurants located on the same street. We appreciate that they source their fish from a reputable wholesaler, and the sashimi portions are very generous. We keep returning because we always have an enjoyable culinary experience. They also take great care of our children, which is a big plus. I highly recommend this place – you won’t want to miss their warm welcome! View menu

Sushi Wabi is hands down the best, most authentic Japanese restaurant in Houston. I’ve been here four days in a row and I normally get the Fuji volcano and the Fuji mountain. Oh my goodness. Heaven. Their atmosphere is authentic, their quality is high and consistent. I’m very proud of their representation of Japanese culture. Very delicate and tasteful. I highly encourage you to come here and try it out. They never disappoint.

Most Google reviews are very simple from 5 stars, but this place deserves it. I was just once and the Mango Tango and Flaming reels were great. Tasteful and tasteful. Octopus Ball appetizer was also good. The Wasabi was spicy, as it should be, against the watered versions. The food came out quickly, and there's a mermaid running around all the time. Good price compared to other places in Houston, my roles were about 15 a piece, but I had some for 17 for lower quality before. I would definitely come back and recommend.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
