"Definitely not a bad place to go. Great interior, but almost too much empty space that could be utilized better. Probably very busy on weekends.Beer selection is good. I got the Moscow Mule Seltzer. I would say it was light refreshing but if you let it sit too long then it does end up tasting like just a room temperature seltzer, which isn 't great.I got the pizza it was quite good for a bar food place. Definitely worth the price. Not amazing but good for bar food since this place doesn 't have a large kitchen.Reason I bumped up to 5* was bc they had Trivia on a slow Wednesday, it was fun not too complicated or competitive. I did get a $15 gift card for 2nd place."

"Dontino’s La Vita Gardens Craving the taste of Italy? Stop by this family-owned gem that’s been a part of the Akron area for nearly 100 years! From the place mats and color schemes, to the vintage photographs and decor, Dontino’s La Vita Gardens serves something we think is super important in dining experiences: authenticity. We absolutely loved the style of this restaurant, and want to go back just to sit at the beautifully arranged bar (which we are SO sad we weren’t able to photograph). We didn’t get anything to drink, but were plenty satisfied with our pre-meal bread and salads. The house-made Italian dressing was absolutely wonderful, and the bread was fresh and refilled promptly upon our request! For our main courses, we got the baked manicotti and the spaghetti with mushrooms. The spaghetti dish was very average, and we weren’t too wowed by any uniqueness or flavors. But the manicotti dish was absolutely DELICIOUS, and was probably the freshest we’ve tasted. Additionally, Dontino’s menu is large, diverse, and filled with incredibly reasonably priced items. Overall, it’s likely in the cards for us to visit again and try something new!"

"based on reviews, this restaurant was on our list to visit, while through acron. the physical space itself was, what would recognize long vegans than the lightly worn, eclectic decoration with unmatched tables and chairs - all perfect and familiar in this account. the place felt like home-kudos. (sides: if they go, make sure that they give a long noticeable look at the gips on the walls and decks - it is pure artistic I never want less than luminous reviews for companies that try to do the right and live progressive values, but I also think it does not help if we do not provide constructive comment areas that could improve. to this point: we ordered tofu scramble. flavoring was a tad picky for our taste, but the main problem was the amount of food. for $14 we expected a more generous part - perhaps even with one side. we also ordered the cookies, sausages and gravy. delicious biscuits with too much pfeffer in the gravy. that was another $13. the $3 coffee was bitter and not really drinkable. we are in the usually very futile diners, but the combination of bad taste and high trips created a situation where we felt we had to express our disappointment. Maybe we met a bad day in the kitchen. so, or so, it is regrettable because woman julie’s seems to have all the right intentions when it comes to herbal food."

"To celebrate the completion of a difficult project, I wanted to offer at least a small appreciation token to some of my team who were instrumental in helping complete the main objectives. I asked them to pick a time and place and we could all grab breakfast together to just get away from the office and decompress for a couple of hours. The team chose Wally Waffle unequivocally. I was excited to try it again as the last time I ate at a Wally Waffle, they had a location on locust Street in Akron. We had a large group (7 but they were able to accommodate us with no issues and got us seated right away. The staff was extremely helpful and absolutely on top of things. Beverages never got anywhere near empty and they stopped by frequently to check on the table. Food wise, our group had some great discussions over all the choices and a few of us really had to agonize over which option to finally choose. A few folks got some versions of an omelette (4 eggs, which made these things huge! others got various versions of a waffle and combination sides. I chose to try the What in the waffle? Which was a Belgian waffle with bacon inside, topped with sausage gravy and two sunny side up eggs. I also grabbed a side of Wally fries (hash browns. I was very happy with my choice. The waffle itself was very flavorful and combined with the egg and sausage gravy, I was quite pleased. The hash browns were quite good as well but I regretted getting them as I was already quite full by the time I had gotten to them. Overall, the team enjoyed the experience, food was fantastic, and service was amazing. It 's a place I would visit again for sure. Parking was easy as there was plenty behind the restaurant which is a plus in the Akron area sometimes."
