"Wow! Definitely a 5 star service from reservations until we left. This is a definition of unreasonable hospitality at its finest! We were there around 8PM on a Thursday for an anniversary date night and it definitely felt like we reserved a hibachi just for us. Chef Tora was amazing, telling us his stories about his journey becoming a chef there all the way from Japan! Our server Ray is also super attentive and making sure we got what we need and even more! Gave us a super bomb green tea ice cream to cap the night off. And of course, last but definitely not the least, we adore Jason as a phenomenal host! We were in Orange but felt like we're in Vegas for dinner! He literally made our anniversary night super special with his personality and made sure everyone is happy. Definitely a champion of his own! Kudos to the leadership and teamwork of this place. You can tell by the way the team worked with each other to make every single thing from the superb food (get the trio and filet mignon! to amazing human experience! You guys made our night!!!"

Royce was our cook. The food was excellent. My favorite teppanyaki in OC for sure.

I had a great time at this restaurant! The sushi was amazing and the tempura sashimi combo was excellent. It's the best sushi I've had in a long time!

I really liked the salmon and sea bream sushi nigiri. The calamari appetizer was great too. The rolls were ok, but I wouldn't order those again. This restaurant has other Japanese options beyond sushi, but I didn't try any of that. I'm not a fan of those skillet tables (hibachi? anyway. View menu

I am from South County and don't normally dine inland. That said, I moved this direction and was out and about and found this Japanese restaurant/hibachi. I walked in and was surprised at the ambience, it was very clean and quaint. We sat at a table and then decided to dine hibachi as they were getting ready to start a new table. First, the chef was amazing and extremely entertaining. I've been to Japanese hibachi my whole life, and this was a refreshing take on the playful and artistic side. Then, the food, was amazing! Everything so entirely fresh. It felt like I was eating all health food. And the service is great! I cannot recommend this place enough! I'm definitely coming back soon !

"I have dined at this restaurant numerous times over the years, and each visit has been enjoyable. The staff is kind and attentive, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is laid-back. My family and I typically come here to celebrate special occasions, but I always find it a delight to eat here. The menu offers plenty of options, along with seasonal specials. Some of my favorites include the fish from the grill menu, lobster rolls, oysters, appetizers, and house drinks. I love pairing my grilled fish entrees with sautéed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and corn as side dishes. You can have any fish from the menu grilled or blackened to your preference. For drinks, I’ve enjoyed the house specials, draft beers, a variety of spirits, wines, and mocktails. Recently, I ordered the Moscow Mule, Old Fashioned, Dark and Stormy, and some cold beers. The mocktails are also fantastic, featuring fresh ingredients like in the Berry Smash and The Spa; they’re all refreshing choices. My family highly recommends the key lime pie and butter cake for dessert—both were incredible. The key lime pie was sweet with a pleasant tang, while the butter cake was tasty and spongy. Even the kids in our group were thrilled with their selections from the fun kids’ menu, which included chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fish and chips, and more, along with activities, crayons, and temporary tattoos, ensuring an enjoyable experience for the entire family. One of the best aspects of this restaurant is its spacious indoor and patio dining areas, which can easily accommodate parties of any size, making it perfect for any occasion. The decor strikes a nice balance between rustic and modern. Additionally, there’s a fully stocked bar in the center of the dining area with some TVs for watching sports. Overall, this is a top-notch restaurant, and I look forward to enjoying many more meals here."

"We wanted to try Zov's Bistro and found this restaurant next to it and packed of people. I smelled all the delicious food and was surprised that yelp never recommended this restaurant in Tustin. We ended up changing our mind to give it a try since I have never tried Malaysia cuisine and love trying something new. We ordered calamari, crab rangoon, and a cup of hot and sour soup as appetizers. It was the best fried calamari we ever had, super flavorful and crispy good quality calamari. It was not over breaded or double fried like a lot of fried calamari from other restaurants. Also the best fresh hot and sour soup I have ever had, the peppers the egg and the vinegar just exactly the right portion. The rangoons were basic with fake crab, but a good portion at a great price. For entrees, we ordered Beef Rendang and the seafood clay pot curry with coconut rice chiken rice. You can choose normal steam rice, brown rice, coconut rice and chicken rice. OMG, the coconut rice is like a dessert, smell delicious and it is such a great taste. Seafood clay pot is sooooooo good with fish, scallop, tofu, bunch of veggies and eggplant all in a spicy and savory broth. The beef rendang is soft, flavorful, and great quality. The curry spices used perfectly complimented the meat without overpowering it. It you want to try extremely good Malaysia food!! Definitely give this place a try."
