"If you haven’t had the chance to enjoy their delicious exotic cuisine and great company in downtown (where there’s plenty of street parking available in their lot!), now is the perfect opportunity to discover these wonderful people and their kitchen. If you’ve been, you know what I mean—wow! I barely scratched the surface of their offerings. When I mentioned the diversity of their selections to one of the staff, he smiled and let me know that the options change every weekend! There is so much to explore here. Though the parking lot was packed, the restaurant was bustling at 6:00 PM, yet there were still a few spots available, so space shouldn't be an issue. I noticed tables for five, seven, and ten being filled quickly. The staff warmly welcomed everyone, and about 90% of the customers seemed to be regulars, treated like family. It’s heartwarming to witness such hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious. They also have a vibrant takeout scene. Doesn’t that sound fantastic? I can't wait to try more. So far, I can't say enough good things about Taj Palace. It's consistently a wonderful experience!"

The food here is incredibly flavorful. The last time I visited, I ordered the lamb biryani and was thoroughly satisfied. Additionally, the customer service has always been outstanding during my visits. Highly recommended!

I am beyond thrilled to discover that the new location is now open! The food is just as amazing as it was in downtown, but now there's so much more space and plenty of parking! I can't express enough gratitude—it's a solid 10/10 every single time!

really good take out. i ordered the chicken curry extra spicy and garlic naan and was so blown away i got it for lunch again the next day with my partner. he got the spinach daal curry (vegan) and mixed vegetable pakora and loved his too. portion sizing is ok but definitely worth every penny. You can enjoy their Buffett or order of the menu either way you will love the food here. The service is very friendly also. Almost completely gluten free. Can be a tad spicy so if you don't like spice make sure you ask questions. We eat here often because the food is authentic and cultured. Highly recommend and be open to trying everything on the menu. Especially loved the lamb dishes.

Lovely place, wonderful people, and really delicious food. We were searching for a place to eat as places in Bend seemingly closed earlier than we expected ~8-9), and while some places turned us away even with 45+ minutes remaining in their hours, Taj Palace welcomed us graciously, treated us kindly, and fed us well. Food was excellent. The Chicken Tikka Masala was the star, and really blew our socks off. Really rich and deep flavor.

My husband and I have been to Taj Palace Indian Cuisine twice, and we left the restaurant highly impressed both times. One thing that has stood out to me most on both of our visits is how attentive and kind the wait staff are. We have not been left without a refill long at all, and the food comes out actually hot, rather than it sitting in the heating window for any length of time. On our last visit, we ordered the mixed vegetable pakora as our appetizer (picture included). The dish was flavorful enough on its own and so crispy, but the three sauces they provided really blew it out of the wayer. Delicious!
