"The food was fantastic! We started with an eggplant appetizer and ordered the Shirazi salad along with kabob and rice. It was the best kabob I’ve ever had in NYC. The interior design was beautiful, featuring both tables and large, cozy sofas, creating a homey and spacious atmosphere. The service was excellent as well. Mr. Nima, the manager, was very kind and welcoming."

I asked the manager to help me with advertising for the 1st Iranian film festival. He was welcoming and agreed to have our flyers. The tea was nice and soothing too! Thank you!

Wow. I was hoping for a great new restaurant on Montague Street. Custom HOuse was such a downer. I tried Taperia tonight, and was blown away. Truly wonderful staff. Amazing food. Try the dates wrapped in ham or the scallops with baked fois gras View menu

The restaurant is incredible and surprisingly laid-back for New York City. The staff is exceptionally friendly, allowing you to linger and enjoy your time even after your meal, much like in a European eatery! The ambiance is cozy, and the food is delicious and appears to be quite authentic, although this was my first experience with Persian cuisine.

I'm not sure if all the comments here pertain to this Persian restaurant, but I found the staff to be friendly, the food to be excellent, and the service to be great. The serving time might be a bit slower, but it's definitely worth the wait. There's a nearby parking garage, and street parking is also allowed. The grilled chicken and beef kebabs were spot on.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
