"This place is located in the heart of Japan town, which I thought was a bit strange. I believe it is the only Mexican restaurant in Japan town. I passed by several times, but never went in...I didn't have any expectations and didn't think it would be worth eating here... Um...I was wrong! The food here is really good. The complimentary salsa tasted fresh and had a good kick to it. We got a wet burrito a few tacos and and enchilada plate. The wet burrito was one of the better ones I had. Juicy, meaty, tasty sauce, ample amount of meat and full of flavor. Very, very good! I love the fact you can customize your tacos here, just tell them what you want in it and the way you want it made...got a Milenesa taco! The tacos were the same as well. Done right, plenty of flavor and good amount of meat as well. The only disappointing things here, were the horchata and the enchilada plate. Nothing special about the enchilada plate, definitely edible, but it did not stand out like the wet burrito or the the tacos. It wasn't bad, just something I would not order here again. I felt the horchata was a bit watered down, lacked flavor and balance. The service was very good, they checked up on us frequently and are quite friendly. I will definitely be back!"

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at La Corona Taqueria. The service was incredibly friendly and fast. The chips and salsa were outstanding. I ordered an enchilada with rice and beans and it was some of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in the area!

I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant located in the center of Japantown. They offer a variety of traditional Mexican dishes at affordable prices, with most items on the menu priced at under $15. The burrito I ordered was generously sized and cost only $7.00.
