"Without a doubt, this is my favorite Japanese restaurant, not just in New York City, but of all time! I stumbled upon it three years ago when I was starved and out with a friend. The service and food are outstanding, and it's always the same staff, which I really appreciate for the consistency. The sushi is always exceptional, and the rest of the menu is fantastic as well. The tempura is wonderfully light and flaky. I'm also really glad they managed to stay open through COVID! Please support local businesses and dine here—you won't be disappointed!"

This restaurant is fantastic! Their bento box allows you to enjoy 10 different types of food without needing to order each one separately. It's a perfect spot for dining solo.

Kind of wary at first due to it being empty but my worries were quickly cast aside when we received our appetizers and they were absolutely amazing. Our entrees were just as good and we would definitely recommend this place to our friends Fast, efficient, and delicious View menu

This is indeed super fresh, super quality, very friendly casual place. All rolls we’ve tried were great; tempura is pretty much the same as I tried in Japan. Bento boxes are great. Lunch specials are delicious and plentiful. Definitely earns title of the neighborhood gem!

Chicken satay was just burnt chicken on a stick not the thin layer of chicken on a stick that I'm use too. Rock shrimp don't know why I was expecting Catch rock shrimp. Received KFC popcorn chicken battered shrimp balls. But I will say the sushi roll spot on and the seafood soup loads of seafood and give me a gallon of the broth excellent!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
