"We walked in with no one to greet, an almost empty place with one customer eating food. We waited to be seated (as per the sign) no one came for next 5 7 minutes. So we just sat at a table. A girl passed by who seemed to be the employee, we got it confirmed that it was open. More wait to receive the menu. We started to order, and were told you can’t order certain items (pretty much every item we wanted) . We asked for menu that had items that were actually being offered. We were given a different menu card. We ordered two different dosas. For next 30 40 minutes no one showed up. Finally mine of us walked up to the kitchen and asked if we were ever going to get served, the chef (who didn’t speak any English showed us the ready to serve plates indicating there was no one to bring them out) Finally the waiter brought those out. Both Dosas were cold, limp and soggy by now. But more disappointing was the taste!!! OMG! So very salty and absolute zero on authenticity!! Mysore Masala Dosa had readymade Lasoon chutney on it as a replacement for “Podi” and Madras masala Dosa had “sambal“ as a replacement to onion chutney! It was sheer salt and Vinegar medley!! What a waste! The accompaniments like Sambar and chutneys were equally disappointing if not more. In all a complete disappointment No service, Bad taste and cold food. Never going back there again."

does not expect a 5-star rating on an Indian place here in herndon on the basis of previous sick experiences in other similar joints, but this place has phenomenal foods her thali was 17.50 but so delish . neither of us were sick and we both enjoyed the aromes that are rare.

Dining at this restaurant was fantastic - it was one of the best Indian meals I've had in years. The tables and chairs were spaced apart for social distancing measures, but the service and quality of the food exceeded expectations. The portions were generous, and I would definitely make the drive to visit again, even if it's an hour away!

I tried their non-vegetarian thali at this restaurant. The ambiance was decent and peaceful. The thali included a good variety of dishes, most of which were delicious. A special mention to the chef who personally served us the hot biryani, showing his love for cooking. The biryani was also delicious, and the service was great that day. I had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant. All the dosas were greasy and thick, with the same filling of red chili powder. They also did not serve coconut chutney. The uttapam took a long time to be prepared, and when it finally arrived, it was only half cooked and cold. Even though there were only two other tables occupied on a Saturday night, the food was still subpar. It takes a special skill to make South Indian cuisine taste this bad. This was probably the worst South Indian food I have ever had in this area.

Worst experience ever! It was a great place for Indian food a few years ago before COVID. I went with my family to have their Thali taste was not great and after we finished the food in the plate and ready to pay the check, waitress says there’s biryani, I could have got it for you. When I asked her why we weren’t initially told that biryani was served as part of thali, she gave lame excuses and didn’t have a courtesy of packing that to go!
