"I really wanted to like this place. I do like to support new businesses, so I gave it a shot. It just did not taste good to me. The positives are the crinkle fries were good and more than plentiful. It was relatively cheap compared to other burger places, portions were huge, but you get what you pay for quality and freshness wise. I tried a double shack burger and a hot dog. I couldnt finish either one. The burgers are pre frozen patties, which I could overlook if it wasnt for other quality issues. I didnt want the thousand island sauce, didnt select it on the order, i selected mayo and mustard, but the house sauce was on there anyway, along with the other sauces. I really didnt like the taste of it. Maybe this was a miscommunication in the way the app options are set up. In my opinion, the red onions are not the way to go, way too overpowering, and that taste lingers in the mouth all day. I would suggest the restaurant switches to white onions. The burger was oversauced making it sloppy to eat. I picked it apart and ended up just eating part of the meat. The hot dog had a horrible stench and looked and tasted very old. I could only handle two bites before I got grossed out by it. Sure enough it gave me bowel problems almost immediately. Sorry, Burger Shack, I dont think I can justify coming back."

I didn’t taste any mustard or tomatoes on my hamburger, which is unusual because they’re usually very good. The fries and milkshake were great, but maybe they were busy. That’s my rating for today.

The burger was excellent, but I didn't enjoy the fries at all. They had a distinct seafood flavor, which made me think they fry all their items in the same oil. Unfortunately, this really affected my first experience at this restaurant.

Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and #3. Pastrami Burger Combo, the Philly was good as usual. However they gave us a pastrami sandwhich and not the burger. Wasnt what she wanted, she did try it and said the pastrami was super salty, ended up throwing that away.

The #4 Western Burger Combo is an excellent choice. The barbecue sauce is fantastic, especially when paired with the crispy onion rings and thick-cut bacon. I'm excited to try the patty melt next. If I had to offer any criticism, it would be that the fries could use a bit more seasoning. View menu
