"We arrived shortly before 5:00 and waited 15 minutes for someone to bring us to a table (the dining room had only one family in it), and then ordered. After the waiter brought the salad, he never came back to see if we needed anything. I wanted to mention that I noticed that the table was dirty after taking our order (letters and crumbs from an earlier customer) and would like it to be so friendly to clean it. Our dinner was brought by someone else who simply put it on the table and left (not give me time to clean the table). My first rib and baked potato was cold and the fish and the chips dinner of my husband was so greasy that the salad under it was covered with fat. She didn't come back to tell her there was a problem with our dinner. (we were here before and never had this problem). Again, no one came to ask if we needed a drink if everything was okay, or if they could get us something. We asked for the bill and went. We didn't say anything because there was no one with whom the waitress left the bill with the money holder on the table and we left it there. Much disappointed. I'll never be here again."

Wow, I came home from work and my husband had a surprise waiting. The BEST Ribs (pork) Iv'e had in a long time..succulent,mildly carved, BBQ sauce delicious with a little heat, not too fat, sides of mashed red potatoes frenchfries an additional cup sauce, clam chowder. I've been going to the chapter house for many years and we never had a bad meal. Last night was a total disappointment. First they charge you for bread. They did this many years ago, but then, after numerous complaints, they stopped loading. Well, I guess about the economy, they started with it again. We ordered the grilled pork chops (they were not grilled) and the Sirloin Steak medium rarely (that was dry). When the waitress came to ask how everything was, we told her and her deeds were (Oh well). Needless to say, with all the restaurants in the area we will not go back soon.
