"I've been coming here for a long time now. They're always friendly there. Their made drinks are good. I recommend the Kolsh. Food is good and they run specials often. My only complaint is I wish they were open a bit later. It's got a bar but it's definitely a family establishment. They do live music and trivia nights. Shout out to my girl Carrie, she takes care of me. Price per person: $20–30"

"The $6 meal is 7 now and the blizzard upgrade is 2 . I had the $6 cheeseburger meal deal and added a $1 for the blizzard instead of the Sunday. My cheeseburger was great. The burger was grilled hot and juicy with fresh toppings, the fries were hot and crispy but the star of the show was the turtle blizzard chocolaty ice cream with tiny pieces of chocolate, carmel and salty pecans . I want another one. The $6 deal is now $7 and $2 for a blizzard."

"We wanted to take my mother out for lunch on her birthday, and she specifically wanted to try this deli. My husband and I are originally from Chicago, so as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the familiar aromas of Chicago delicacies. He ordered the French Dip Sandwich, while my mother and I opted for Reubens. Each sandwich came with a kosher pickle, wavy potato chips, and a drink. The food was excellent and didn't disappoint. The portion sizes were just right. I didn’t inquire about potato salad, coleslaw, or macaroni salad, but those would have made nice additions to the meal. The iced tea was just right, and the coffee was strong and hot, with several flavors of creamer available. They had a temptingly delicious cheesecake for dessert, but we were too full to indulge! The prices are fair for the quality of food served. Just a note: 42Deli currently only serves lunch and does not offer breakfast, even though some Google listings may say otherwise. They mentioned that they might have a breakfast menu in the future, but for now, they do not have the facilities to prepare eggs."

"I’ve had Chinese restaurants in multiple states across the country, this is by far one of the worst places I’ve ever had. I truthfully would not recommend this to my enemies. Very little variety, filthy tables and silverware during a pandemic! Frozen egg rolls, unfresh food, and filthy windows. I’ve never seen a place sell actual store bought deserts before. They’re reselling Kroger bagged donuts. If it was possible to review a 0/5 I would. The only positive aspects of this place is the kind staff and the cheap price. Drive to Roanoke and spend your money in some place you won’t regret."

"Palatable but not preferable. I asked about wine the server said.(no wine list) I don’t know. I said maybe sangria? Moscato? She shrugged and said Chardonnay and something. So I had water with lemon. The lemon wedge was the better part of the meal. My broc and chicken had about two bites of broccoli with crumbled chicken. My partner’s lasagna was thinner than your thumb. He described it as two noodles and sauce. The man next to us was eating something covered in heavy barbecue sauce while telling his wife this is terrible. They charged us $35 for cheap eats served on plastic plates."
