Foundry Food Tap - Menu

Typically, I enjoy a fantastic meal here, but my recent visits have been disappointing. The prices are quite steep for food that can be inconsistent. The quality definitely needs to be improved across the board.

I visited last night to grab some wings and decided to try the avocado egg rolls as well. The wings were excellent, and the avocado egg rolls were fantastic! To top it all off, everything was half off after 9 PM!

This may come off as controversial opinion, but I feel like the Foundry Food Tap is an overpriced Applebee's. I used to come for dinner, but now mainly come for the half price apps. About two weeks ate here it was Poor quality, ordered two entrees left disappointed, prices are high for the quality and serving size of food here. Ordered blackened Alfredo chicken pasta and the chicken tasted like it was a processed chicken patty it was thin and dry. Don’t waste time/money here.

I'm not sure if it was because we were dressed for work, but the waitress treated us accordingly. She could benefit from learning that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Additionally, if you’re going to offer big city dishes that are well-known, they should at least deliver the rich flavors that each dish is meant to have. I will return, as I usually do. Tried to eat here and they told me that they couldn’t serve our group because the kitchen was too busy. People were very ignorant and clearly didn’t want our business. Update-customer service reached out to me and rectified the complaint. Still haven’t got to try it but I am willing to give them another chance. We were hungry. We'd been driving all day through heavy rain and finally arrived in Bettendorf...hungry. Searched Google and there was Foundry Food and Tap (full bar!)Food was great (especially fish and chips) Service outstanding. Ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich tonight for delivery. I don 't expect delivery to be as good as in store, let 's be real that 's never the case, but when the sandwich showed up the chicken was very clearly burnt.As someone who spent a lot of years in the restaurant industry my guess is the kitchen staff saw it and thought Not the best but not too bad and I don 't want to remake it. And I am super sympathetic to that mindset. But at the price I would have liked to have properly cooked and not burnt chicken.

Chose The Foundry for a large party (22 people) and will not be doing so again. Made a reservation nearly two months in advance for 6pm on a Saturday. When we got there we were told “ few more minutes” and asked to wait on the patio. It was 6:30 when we were sat. No one offered us drinks. I asked the hostess if the appetizers that i preordered would be ready when we got inside and she assured me they would be but they were weren’t. Our server didn’t even know about them. We sat to no water or silverware on the table and had to put the order in for appetizers.
