I often have to travel through this area and I will make my plans around this stop. Classy food and Great service!

Spent the day with my family in Narrowsburg and we decided to lunch here. Food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend it.

Such tasty food, top tier **** mary. Delicious beet salad if you're in to that. And the veggie burger is great too! Can't wait to go back!

Nice place; great locally sourced food. Little pricey but worth it! Servers were friendly in the tight quarters. Many restaurants in the area but this one seems to attract the most.

Have to say at first we thought oh no not sure about this place. Well then we wanted the Salmon but it was after 7 pm on a Thur night and they where sold out. Ok then we were not for sure, We’ll let me just say 2 got the chicken and love it. The other 2 of us decided then we would try the steak, let me say that probably was the best steak I have ever eaten. The pepper crust was out of this world. The spicy margarita was so good. Stopped here while on a 3 day, 2 overnight camping trip and paddle down the Delaware River. Never been treated so poorly. I know we didn't look our best and might have needed a shower, but the amount of sass and disrespect was absurd. Never said anything or told us.. Instead they offered poor service, plenty of eye rolls and disgusted looks. Unprofessional. I have eaten at The Heron many times over the past six years and the food is consistently good. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and the staff is always friendly. The restaurant is clean and the inside has a very nice interior design and a cool vibe. Outside the views from the deck are amazing especially in the evenings. I no longer drink alcohol so I can’t say much about the drinks, but I can say that they always bring in really interesting non-alcoholic options. Not a lot of restaurants in … – show

I ordered my meal and a drink. While the view of the river is a beautiful view I cannot say the same for the food. I ordered water, which tasted like chlorine, as I was driving. I order the fried chicken and I bit into the chicken and it was still pink. I was not impressed. I sent the food back. They tried again, but the second batch was not much better.
