"I made a reservation for 25 for a post memorial service family dinner at Simple Palate. They opened the restaurant early and brought in staff 2 servers and 2 cooks just for our group. However, we showed up at the restaurant with almost 50 family members twice as many as expected and twice as many as they had planned for. What did owner Kevin Romanko of Simple Palate do? He welcomed us with open arms without complaint! The two servers that came in early just to serve us worked tirelessly and without complaint for two and a half hours!! The two cooks quickly prepared the food for our unexpectedly large group. At no point during our visit did the owner Kevin or his two servers ever show the slightest sign of discontent. They happily took care of all of us. This was my first visit to this restaurant. The owner and his staff turned what was a difficult time of grief for my family into a positive family memory. Thank you Kevin, thank you two cooks (whose names I do not know), and thank you two special servers who came in early and handled a large crowd with class. I highly recommend Simple Palate!"

"Been going to this National since I was a kid. It's been the go-to for my family, especially Saturday lunches out with grandma.The food has always been good and quick coming out. The service has always been really good too.I'm sad that they remodeled because the old decor reminded me of all those good times with my grandma, and then in later years, the late nights with friends in high school.I understand life goes on, and it probably needed an upgrade. Luckily I took a couple pics before the changes were made.Parking: Always open spots. Easy to park.Wheelchair accessibility: Is accessible."

"They are DISHONEST and will SCAM you if you let them. BE VERY CAREFUL.Today, 03/25/2023, on third day of the Holy Ramadan, my wife and I went to Bismillah to get Iftaar take out (6pm). After they billed me, we saw that they were overpriced by $8. We challenged them twice, but they denied. They even did some calculation on the calculator and told us we were wrong. We ended up opening up the iftaar boxes, and after a tedious process, finally they realized their mistake. We could understand, we can all make mistakes while fasting. Unfortunately, rather than apologizing, they were very rude during the rest of the billing process.Their name may be Bismillah , but they are expert at ripping off the trusting bengali community of south-east michigan. Such a shame!"

"Place was way way busier than I thought it would be but that didn't effect the excellent experience we had. We've gotten delivery a couple of times but never been there to sit and eat. Everything was great! We had a couple of Sazaracs for drinks and the Spicy Italian for pizza and it was fantastic. Our waitress who was clearly a little stressed was awesome and took really good care of us. We will be back. If you haven't gone you really should"

"We have been going to downtown Vivios for years. Was always a pleasure. Not so much now. Had lunch their today (Saturday). **** Mary and bourbon burger. Sauce to sweet and burger flavorless. Was disappointed. Didn 't even taste like beef! Great fries. Asked the to busy bartender for S&P. Slapped 2 dirty S&P bottles between me and the couple next to me and said you will have to share. Bartender grabbed 2 dirty glasses and 1 very large dirty mug and placed on bar next to the drinks, I was enjoying. Dirty mug rested against my straw. Good thing no health department employee in site. Observed solo bartender touching everything in site, washing all filthy glasses, not a glove in site nor did she ever wash her hands. I don 't believe washing dirty glasses qualify. Management needs to pay attention! I did enjoy my conversation with the two delightful/resourceful patrons sitting next to me."
