"We went for a quick dinner down the road by our apartment this evening, and The Mermaid Inn delivered an amazing experience for us! The atmosphere was great with nice music. They were busy but not noisy. The candles on the table created a warm and calmfeeling. The oyster and clams were great! My husband loved the salmon and hush puppies. He said the salmon entree wasunbelievably delicious with the salmon resting on top of a bed of vegetables: sweet potatoes, mushroom, greens, and so on. Theservice was great! We will be back to try more dishes!"

always a good spot for happy hour oysters and drinks. indoor seating is always packed even prepandemic. service is good despite how busy they are with indoor and outdoor seating. wait staff are super nice. even got complimentary dessert before we left toanother place for dinner. will definitely return when in the area.
