"We stayed at the Washington House for a night away and to see a concert at the Sellersville Theater. I cannot say enough great things. The room was comfortable and clean, with an old school charm. For dinner, we had pierogies for an app, Crabcakes, a Short Rib Grilled Cheese, and Bread pudding. It was AMAZING. I'm from the south and bread pudding is something I love. It was soooo delicious. The pierogies, we cannot say enough about the taste. Delicious! And our server was absolutely the best. For breakfast, we went for the continental breakfast. Liz and (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) were so kind, sweet, and welcoming. So sweet for an early morning. The Belgium Waffle was good but I might have preferred French toast or something not as filling since I didn't get to finish the rest of my waffle and felt like it was a waste. We will absolutely be back. Rooms: Updated but maintained old charm Walkability: Right next to the Sellersville theater Food drinks: Absolutely amazing food."

We had lunch reservations before heading to the theater, and our experience was wonderful. Our waitress, Victoria, was exceptional, and the food was incredible. Overall, I would rate the service a 5 and the location a 5 as well. This hotel truly offers great value!

There is nothing like treating yourself or a group to a wonderful dining experience and then the Washington House is where you need to go. The atmosphere itself is truly overwhelming like taking a trip back in time. The service is great and the food you've ordered is prepared as was instructed. The prices are a bit high, but llook at it this way, Splurge!, you deserve it. ENJOY!!

The manager and hostess on duty today at 2:30 PM were disappointing. They ignored us and made us feel like an inconvenience, making us wait while the hostess finished her chat with another employee. We had an infant with us and wanted to sit outside to avoid potential noise, so we were just trying to be considerate. In the past, I had said that the Washington House served one of the 2 most memorable steaks I ever had. No more it was tasteless. Everything was over salted. I had heard that a slug would shrivel if doused with salt. That is what happened to my mouth. Do not order the painkiller cocktail. I do not know how you can screw up a fruit and rum drink, but they managed to do it. I drank it fast just to get rid of it. The only thing they prepared that was digestible was the coffee. The service was fine.

Very cozy dining room, food was well prepared and service was nice and efficient despite it being a busy Saturday evening. It is a bit noisy, maybe because we were next to the kitchen and there was a large party event in the room next to us Still, the food is worth the trip. Quality and quantity are both satisfactory, you can taste that everything is home made and on demand. If you are in a rush or a stressed customer, this is not the place you want to go, at least not on that kind of evening. But guess what, good food takes time to be prepared.
