Thumbs Up Diner - Menu

The food was absolutely delicious. There was quite a long wait. However, the staff was welcoming and accommodating. The menu is very well priced, I haven't gotten that much bang for my buck in a while. If you're going on Sundays (or a weekend) get there early. I will definitely be back!

Wow. Can?t say enough good things about this food. Disguised as a diner, but with some real southern soul and comfort here. The food is incredible and the service awesome. I can see why it?s usually packed! Fried catfish is fantastic and so is thefried chicken biscuits and gravy. Must have when in ATL.

Wonderful diner! It was a little busy and we waited about an hour on a Sunday morning, but it was worth the wait. It’s exactly what you want out of a diner. The eggs were great, the bacon was great, and the pancakes were delicious. Shane, our server, was fantastic. He was nice, attentive and very quick. He was constantly topping off our coffee. If you want if you’re in the area looking for a great breakfast option, this one disappoint.

I'm a big fan of breakfast, so this spot is perfect for me! I visited for brunch, and the place was bustling (which is always a good indication). There was a bit of a wait for a table, but once we were seated, our server greeted us promptly and warmly. We ordered a mix of dishes, including a skillet, chicken tenders, and other breakfast favorites. Everything was hot, fresh, and served with a friendly smile. I definitely plan to return!

My friends and I had brunch at Thumbs up on Saturday and the food was very good. Although the wait was extremely long, once we were seated our food came out very quickly and it was hot and delicious and very reasonably priced even in today?s economy. Oneof the only gripes I have is that this is a cash only restaurant. I didn?t realize that until I saw the sign out front. They dohave an ATM inside but you?ll have to pay a fee. My friends and I had brunch at Thumbs Up on Saturday, and the food was excellent. The wait to be seated was quite lengthy, but once we were at our table, our meals arrived quickly, piping hot, and incredibly tasty—all at very reasonable prices, even considering today’s economy. My only minor complaint is that this restaurant only accepts cash. I only discovered this when I saw the sign at the entrance. They do have an ATM inside, but it charges a fee. Aside from that, I would definitely return.

Friendly Reminder: CASH ONLY (they do have an ATM available). My friends and I enjoyed Saturday brunch here, and we found street parking, though there is also parking beside the restaurant. We were seated immediately and received great service. The food was fantastic! The shrimp and grits had a mild kick and were bursting with flavor. Bonus points for the shrimp being served without shells or tails! My friends really enjoyed the blueberry preserves and the fries that accompanied their fish. The thumbs up diner definitely earns a thumbs up from me, and I can't wait to come back!

I enjoy coming here with my kids for a simple breakfast/brunch. The staff is very friendly, the service is amazing (Rashid has served us multiple times) and portions are generous. The place is always packed so I recommend joining the digital waitlist onthe Yelp app when you?re on your way OR plan for 10-20 minutes to be seated. I wouldn?t say the food is exceptional but it?sgood. We really like the spuds. They have plenty of vegetarian options including vegetarian sausage. Note that they accept CASHONLY which can be inconvenient (took 1 star off for this reason). All in all I recommend this place and will definitely be backagain. View menu
