"I crushed this place today. I stumbled in and realized it just opened. I wanted to order their Cuban, which looked delicious, but their 'sandwich of the day ' was staring me in the face, so I went for it. Soppressata on baguette with some fancy cheese, mustard greens, cippolini onions, and stone ground mustard. Came with carrot salad, which was chopped with green onion and parsley and lightly dressed. All of it was fantastic. Great size portion, without making you feel like you need a nap. The service was quick, but the atmosphere still felt warm. You could grab to-go, stay and have a quick lunch, or hang out and read while having a beer. Fills a huge gap on the downtown mall."

So happy Tilman's opened up on the mall! Courtenay is an incredible hostess, and all the staff have been wonderful every visit. Love their sandwiches and cheeses and wines. Delicious menu. And that atmosphere. SO CUTE! Can't wait for many more hangs at Tilman's!

I’ve walked by this restaurant hundreds of times and thankfully finally stopped in last Friday for lunch. I had the avocado toast with garlic spread which was delicious. They have an excellent selection of wine but as it was lunch I didn’t get to try any this time. They also have an wonderful assortment of cheeses. Extremely vegetarian and great service!!

Uhhh. I’ve been here twice a week since they’ve opened. I love it. $5 cheese and fruit plate for kids! My toddler loves it, and I get to keep the fancy stuff all to myself. Happy hour is great. Salads are amazing! Dried olives are insanely good and strange. The downtown mall has needed a place like this since enoteca closed. Casual and classy at the same time. View menu

This fit the bill perfectly as we looked for a quiet little spot for small plates and drinks. The small plates--meatballs, tomato crostini, and Spanish burrata--were nicely presented and very tasty. We also had the salad Niçoise, tomato/basil soup, and a prosciutto and fig panini, plus drinks (the basil smash was incredibly good, as was the Lambrusco). We dined on a quiet Tuesday evening of Thanksgiving week, and found this a peaceful comfortable spot. I'd love to return to sample some of their extensive wine collection. Well worth a try!

We stopped because almost every other eatery on the mall was closed on Sunday, February 12. We did not want to fill up because we had nice dinner reservations so we ordered the big board of meat and cheese and a french press coffee. The service was great and the food was excellent. There were several things we were not sure if we would like it or not but we had a hard time determining what we like the least because it was all so good. I would absolutely come back to try some other food and think you should give this place a try if you need a snack.
