"Perhaps it was an off day, but the owner was giving the employees reviews/feedback, and despite an empty restaurant, everything was a long wait. The ebi nigiri had a small portion of rice underneath it that crumbled when picked up. It took five minutes to get a slice of lemon to sprinkle on the food. It took fifteen minutes to pay after I was done. And I really didn't need to hear staff issues. If someone is a no show on a Saturday because they slept at a friend's house for bible study, I don't need to hear it over lunch."

"I’m so thankful that the other restaurant I intended to visit for dinner was closed because it led me to discover this amazing spot! The moment you step through the door, you’re greeted by the most wonderful aroma—it's absolutely fantastic! The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly patient, taking the time to answer all my questions about the sauces they offer on their sandwiches (by the way, I’m now in a serious relationship with the Morning Sauce!). The service was impressively quick, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t help but dive into the menu, reading it like a romance novel as I eagerly plan my next meal there. I can’t wait to go back—hopefully, it will be very soon!"

"I had a menu image saved from online, so I quickly decided to order the chicken strips and fries. The food arrived surprisingly fast. The chicken was cooked well, golden brown, and crispy, but that's where the compliments end. The fries were lukewarm, lacking that hot, crispy texture you'd expect. It was clear that no one had taken the time to ensure everything was served fresh and hot. Unfortunately, the chicken was quite bland. There was no seasoning, and the breading did nothing to enhance the flavor of the chicken breast. Of the three large strips I ordered, I only managed to eat one and ended up taking the other two home for my dog, along with the underwhelming fries. After about 15 minutes, the server finally came over to check on me, but then ignored me for another 10 minutes before asking the same question again. What should have been a quick visit stretched into more than an hour, leaving me completely unhappy and dissatisfied. I overheard the bartenders telling customers that they rarely worked, and it showed. The combination of confusion and being overwhelmed among the staff only added to my frustration. This latest experience made me realize that my initially positive visit was indeed a fluke, and I have no plans to return."

"I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed. The lady who took my order was friendly, but the food itself was not up to standard. The teriyaki chicken tasted like it had been frozen and reheated, with some pieces burned and inedible. It was chewy and lacked teriyaki sauce, making it mostly dry. The pasta salad was bland, tasting mostly like pasta and mayo. The chicken Katsu could have been more flavorful, and the meat was tough. The chicken fried rice tasted like something I could have bought at a grocery store deli, not restaurant quality. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food. While the portions were generous, I would have preferred better quality over quantity."
