"We've been dining at this restaurant for many years. Before the pandemic, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cheerful. Unfortunately, it has gradually gone downhill. Some aspects, like in-person dining, didn't survive the pandemic. Over the past year, the quality of the food has been below average. We kept giving them "second" chances since they once had the best Chinese food in our area. However, tonight we decided it would be our last order. While the orange chicken was quite tasty, the white rice was stale. The wonton soup was served cold, and the wontons didn't taste right. The steamed dumplings were also cold and had a rubbery texture as if they were reheated. The house special fried rice was bland and greasy. From now on, I'll be looking for Chinese food elsewhere. It’s always disheartening when a once-great restaurant declines."

I ordered chow mein from the rice and noodle section of their menu, but to my disappointment, there were no noodles at all. Instead, it came in a clear sauce with gelatinous chicken. I was absolutely disgusted. It was a complete waste of both my time and money.

The place used to have really flavorful and good food. It has changed, the interior is cluttered, dirty and dingy. But the food.. over the last few years it has not been good. Tonight it was the worst food. It had jelly around the chicken. I couldn't eat it! No more True Taste. I shouldn't have ordered.

We were on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant and decided to try this one out. We ordered beef and broccoli, shrimp egg foo young, and crab rangoons. Everything tasted fantastic and was still warm by the time we got home. This meal was enough to feed three adults. Our only complaint was that the broccoli wasn't cooked quite enough; it was a bit too crunchy for our liking. Overall, we will definitely order from here again. View menu

I had visited this restaurant before and found the food to be decent, but on my most recent visit on July 23, 2024, it was a different story. The food was burnt, and the gravy tasted sour! When I called the manager to address my concerns, he insisted that no one else had complained and suggested it must be my personal taste. Regardless of his response, the gravy was definitely sour to me. In frustration, he refunded my money, and I told him I would never return.

I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, however, I took a risk with True Taste and find myself frequenting this carry-out facility. Andrew is generally the one who assists me. He's pleasant and the service and food provided are consistently consistent. I generally get either the Mixed Vegetable Delight, or the Beef and Broccoli or just the appetizer, Teriyaki Beef. The food is always piping hot temperature-wise and very flavorful. True Taste gets 5 STARS from me in every category!!

Our family has ordered takeout from this restaurant several times, and it was generally fine. However, last night after my son and spouse had the chicken and broccoli, they were both up all night vomiting, experiencing severe cramping, nausea, and diarrhea. They are still feeling unwell today. It's been a nightmare, and my spouse is considering going to the clinic if her symptoms don’t improve soon. This place used to be great, ordered from them many times over the years, but since they changed owners or whatever, they are not so great anymore. Took an hour to get my order delivered, was not fresh at all, didn't get all of my order, then lied and said she was on her way, after acting like he didn't know the driver hadn't got to us yet, then after all that, not all of my order was delivered and the driver was a guy instead of a lady Ike he said. I have ended my relationship with this place, will not order from these guys again.

This place is terrible. I decided to try it through DoorDash, and when I arrived to pick up my food, I was greeted by a dirty aquarium and cluttered boxes. There was no one at the front, so I had to shout to get someone’s attention from the back. Eventually, someone called out that they would be there in a minute. I wouldn't normally mind, but I placed my order 30 minutes before arriving, and I received a notification from DoorDash saying my order was ready for pickup. I will never waste my time or money here again. It's better to go somewhere else.
