"Came here because it was conveniently located. Had their meatballs and a Mediterranean salad. After we sat, the waiter brought fresh baked bread, so fresh that it was super hot from the oven! Sooo delicious, I didn't want to eat it (because carbs! but ate the whole thing. The meatballs were in a delicious sauce we sipped up with the grilled bread that came with the meatballs. Then the salad, such fresh arugula, dressed just right, not too much, just perfect. I came back the second day to get a grilled chicken sandwich to go. The other great indicator was that a couple of UPS drivers came by to grab a pizza for their lunch. You know it's good when people who can go anywhere for lunch comes here for their lunch. Fairly basic menu, but the quality is top notch!"

I had some great pizza here! I ordered two slices of pepperoni and a can of Coke for just $12, but I could barely finish one slice. The pizza is topped with real mozzarella that tastes like it’s straight from Italy.

My son had been raving about this place, so this was the first chance I had to check it out. The Bolognese is amazing and meaty. It’s like a heavenly bit yumminess. The bread is to die for!!! Hours are limited, so check to see if they are open.

This place is great comfort Italian food done very well and with GREAT consistency. Love they provide a large amazing warm bread with each order. The bread, salads, and gnocchi are my favorite but their fish/meat entrees always look to die for, still have to try. View menu

I took my wife to see Christopher Cross at the Saban Theatre this week and accidentally discovered this little gem after parking. We decided to grab a slice of pizza, and while I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had, it was definitely very good. The staff was incredibly friendly, which made our experience even better. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for a 30-minute detour just to eat here (which is what I consider necessary for a 5-star rating), but if you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try. I really do!

I was on my way to the chain sandwich shop next door, planning to order a meatball sandwich, when I noticed that this restaurant was open. I could immediately tell it was Italian, so I decided to go in instead. I sat by the window and ordered a meatball sandwich, which turned out to be much larger and tastier than what I would have gotten next door. While it was a bit pricier, the quality and portion size definitely justified the cost. The sandwich even came with a small salad. The service was great and very attentive. I’m often in the area, but usually when the restaurant is closed. I hope they can extend their hours, especially as the weather gets nicer.

"Haven't been to Spago since their facelift and I'm so happy some things never change. Spago is still the overall number one restaurant in all of Los Angeles. First, the ambiance: The new look is updated but not overdone and the feeling in the dining room and the garden is still very much warm, cozy and elegant. The Food: Pure perfection from start to finish!! We opted to go with the tasting menu $240 per person) along with some choice wines throughout the meal a full wine pairing is also available). Every single item in the tasting menu ranged from very good to amazing. The fact that this kitchen crew can execute a regular a-la-carte menu, along with a separate tasting menu to such perfection of timing and most importantly look and flavor is quite impressive. Favorites were the Gazpacho, Halibut, and Veal but everything else was absolutely delicious!! The tasting menu is extensive and for most people would be enough but not for us!! So added the ridiculously amazing bread box, a side of what can only be described as the best mashed potatoes you will ever have, and a chocolate soufflé....why you ask...jest because The service: Our server Gerhardt and the Sommelier Devin were superstars, as well as the team around them. Service pace was perfect and the wines recommended by Devin were excellent Gruner Veltliner, Rioja, Riesling). GREAT JOB!!!"
