Umami Burger - Menu

Good spot to eat at before going to a movie. Foods decent, atmosphere is okay. ?

It's a nice place to stop by on a hot day and grab something to eat. The burgers were actually really good here and I enjoyed this place very much.

Table was dirty. One employee not in uniform, the ones that were in uniform had dirty uniforms and not clean appearance. Table was dirty and sticky. View menu

Incredible burger! We arrived at 5 for an early dinner, and our food was served by 5:10. By 5:15, everything was gone! I highly recommend this place!

great atmosphere, interesting selection of food. eating was delicious, but a bit salty. jonathan i, was such a wonderful server. I love their outside seats with a children's playground. my experience was very pleasant, I will be back.

The service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress took forever to take our order and bring our food and there were only a few tables throughout the restaurant. She never once checked on us to see if we needed anything. The only thing she came back for was to give us the check. View menu

We got here and said we had a reservation. The restaurant was empty. The hostesses said “we’re not seating reservations, but the restaurant is empty so we can seat you anyways”. What’s the point of a reservation then lol also why make the comment if you’re going to seat us anyway.

I was here two times now, the first time I came here with the family and we had to go because no one came to take our order for 40 minutes, although we asked someone to take our order. the second time I decided to give him another attempt and was extremely disappointed. on the one hand, the person who sits me could not sit down me because all the tables were dirty and had to go something to clean a table for me. I remember Umami burger as the pioneer of the craft burger era in Los Angeles. It was my favorite burger in town.A few years later they got bought out by SBE who decided to start cutting costs. Well, around 2018 I ate there and noticed something was different. The burger was still good but it just didn’t have the wow factor.I asked the waiter if the recipe had changed and he said that their meat was no longer fresh, it was frozen. Disappointing, but no big deal.Fast forward to today, I go into Umami for the first time in several years and notice the menu is unrecognizable.
