"Zemeta is conveniently located right next door, so if you're in the mood for a delicious meal, that's always an option! The California dream dish was fantastic. The music was a bit loud, but it wasn't overwhelming. The seating is quite comfortable, with padded booths along the walls, some couches, and smaller metal chairs paired with low tables. The atmosphere is enhanced by blue and purple lighting, along with fabric draped from the ceiling."

Good hookah at a great price, very friendly staff. A bit of a “grunge” vibe, but very relaxed.

A little rough around the edges, but friendly service. The seat upholstery was ripped. I have had better hookah, but it was fine.

This family-owned restaurant has wonderful people and provides the best Ethiopian/Habesha experience in Rochester! I highly recommend it! View menu

Having never been there before I had no idea what to order or how it worked. The staff was mixed on helpfulness. I should try again but it won't be soon.

This place is a scam, they will charge even when you don’t order anything, and they won’t even inform you of this. Sat down with friends who ordered hookahs, but I was charged a hookah price even though I haven’t ordered anything

Love this place, the owner is so nice and accommodating! Great food toooo: They're not open 24hrs, but if you get here early you can stay as long as you want. The seats aren't very comfy, but it's still fun to hang with your friends: View menu

This place is more appealing than the one further up the street. It's a family-owned business, connected to a family restaurant known for its delicious food. It's definitely a hidden gem! The prices are very reasonable, especially if you chat with the owner. They also offer drinks and have seating available both upstairs and downstairs.

I visited this place last week and it was pretty cool. They have downstairs and upstairs; you can play your own music. Although the chairs were pretty stiff (feels like you’re sitting on the floor) nevertheless, the place definitely needs renovation. The owner is pretty nice and price is reasonable. All in all, it’s nice place to spend your weekends at. Lots of hot foreign carmel guys with good hair.

"Let me start with the pros, because there weren 't many. First, since this was our first time here and I have been looking forward to eating here for years, it took a little bit longer to order. The waitress was kind enough to get my two children 's orders in first since they were hungry. Their food came out as expected. Second, my Chicken Piccata was outstanding. End of pros. Cons: The moment we get there, the host and waitresses are bickering about where to seat my family consisting of me, my wife, my 4yr old, and my 1 yr old who needs a high chair. Worst yet, they are bickering where to seat them because they don 't want the high chair at certain tables (this place was half empty, and there was plenty of space to walk around a high chair at any of the tables). So, they stuck us in the corner of the restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet, but quite a dark setting. The men 's restroom was unkept with a door that had tape on the door handle lock and the cover to the back of the toilet was hanging half-off. We get our food, and my wife 's gnocchi were a little tough, but the red sauce was the worst of it. I 'd compare it to a little more than a can of Ragu sauce. My 4yr old even said the sauce is not good . Again, my Chicken Piccata was excellent, however, from the many reviews I 've read from here, the portions were supposed to be large, and this was not (and would have been nice if there were more than four mushrooms on it). Before the worst part of the meal, I 'm going explain what my wife and I did during our time here. When we were seated and throughout the course our meal we made sure that our table was easy to clean up by putting down placemats down where our children ate. Furthermore, we made sure plates were stacked when finished, and the table was properly bused before our waitress would come to take them. This was the worst part: after we all finished, we waited a good long while and my kids were getting impatient. We apologized for the mess that my 1yr old made under his high chair, but it 's not abnormal for children to make messes. Waitress finally came over and handed us the check, but had THE NERVE to say to my wife, oh your [oldest] son is making it worse, he 's grinding the food into the carpet, here 's some napkins clean it up. My 4yr old was not stepping on it on purpose, and I find it absurd and rude to tell a paying customer to clean your floor in your restaurant regardless of the level of mess. I didn 't see the waitress tell the old man sitting next to us to get down on his hands and knees to clean the spaghetti pieces and bread crumbs he left around his chair. Sadly, this first experience will be our last here. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3"
