Great staff, great food get the porkchops and greens!! Everytime is a positive experience they have karaoke on fridays and the crowd is always super fun! Can 't go wrong with anything on the menu and uncle b himself is a great owner!

Chicken was ok everything else was way below standards restaurant was beat the hell up it's the type of restaurant you don't want to take your momma. Flies where everywhere. I don't recommend at all. I think uncle B needs to step there shit up.

If you're craving authentic soul food, this place is a must-visit. It's veteran-owned, and Uncle B is an incredibly friendly host. Some previous reviews might have been from those expecting fine dining, but this is a fantastic local spot we discovered while traveling from Fredericksburg to Culpepper. On our way home from out of town work. Stopped for some dinner. Service was slow(especially since we were the only patrons). Food was edible. We split the 2 pork chops dinner. We asked for them baked as the menu stated as an option. He says that will take 45 minutes to do and that he could grill them. One chop was juicy, other was dry as a bone. I think this place is more of a bar instead of a restaurant. The place looks very rundown and not very clean

I can't provide a review of the food since we waited for 45 minutes and it never arrived, and our server was nowhere in sight. Eventually, I found her when I inadvertently peeked into the dirty kitchen. I inquired about the status of our order and was met with a rude response from someone I presume is the owner. My suggestion is to just go to Popeyes down the road. I can't help but wonder if the way I was treated had to do with my race. Service: Dine-in.
