The pizza here is amazing! I had the Detroit-style Roni, and it was fantastic. It had perfectly crispy edges, an abundance of cheese that filled the box, and small, crispy pepperoni cups! I can't wait to come back!

Tried the Detroit style pepperoni it was amazing. Loved the crisp on the crust all the fresh ingredients. The sauce was amazing but there definitely wasn’t enough of it for the size of the pizza. It’s a little pricey but worth it for the quality

Perfect night for our first try of Detroit style pepperoni pizza and a Pollo pie with chicken, ricotta, and mozz. We asked for no sauce on the Pollo, and tasted amazing. Took it across the street to the beach, but it was a but too breezy, so we had car dinner! View menu

We came in from out of town and a local we met insisted that we try Volos pizza. When we went in to get our pizza we had the pleasure of meeting the owner Volo. He is welcoming, friendly, funny and took time out of his day to chat with us and gave us some great recommendations. When we got back to our Airbnb to eat out pizza, we were blown away by the quality of the pizza. It’s literally the best pizza we’ve had. The reputation is well deserved. The pizza here is fantastic!!! Tony is a charming character and clearly has a passion for food, both Italian style and with an American twist. The tomato sauce is incredible! We recently spent 5 weeks in Italy and this easily rivals Italian tomatoes (which I didn’t think was possible). The pizza base was a little thicker/Americanised than what one might expect in Napoli however it was delicious in its own way. We also had the Detroit style which is rich and generous. If you’re lucky enough to be close by Volo then drop by and you won’t be disappointed. If you’re further away it’s worth the journey.

I didn’t realize that there wasn’t actually a place to sit; it’s primarily a meeting spot. However, the owner was incredibly kind and rearranged some tables stacked with boxes outside for us. We ordered the Cremini mushroom Detroit-style pizza, which was loaded with cheese and featured perfectly cooked mushrooms! I had the gnocchi with meatballs, which were quite good and came with a flavorful sauce. We also shared the house salad, but it had way too many onions and could have benefited from more of the other ingredients.
