"I was looking for something near I-91 while on my way home from Vermont. Easy to reach, very clean and fast, efficient and friendly service. Burgers were great (you choose all the ingredients you want to add), cheese dog was good, but nothing special. Really happy, I stumbled on this place and would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area!"

I grew up in West Springfield and returned to visit from Atlanta, and I just had to make a stop at White Hat for their amazing cheeseburger with fried onions! This place has been around since 1939, and the quality really speaks for itself. View menu

Slow ordering process. Not like the old days. Ordered 2 cheese with fried 2 dogs with raw onions ketchup mustard relish and one plain dog and 2 sodas. This place used to hum! Order up in maybe a 3 min wait. Much slower now.took almost 10 min.Still good but not the same.

I only got cheese fries. $5 for a small styrofoam container, half full....for $4.50, it could 've been a little fuller . Service was awesome, all were friendly one of the cooks even walked to my table with my food apologized bc it was made wrong at first. Overall for my first time eating there, i recommend it . I visited the restaurant today, December 29, and I was disappointed with my experience. Both burgers were unappetizing, the fries were subpar, and the onion rings were not any better. Everything tasted like it had been pre-cooked, frozen, and then reheated. We all ended up feeling ill afterward. Overall, it was a big letdown.
