"Vietnamese/French or French/Vietnamese.... Had dinner here on Tues night. Excellent value for money, nicely decorated for a restaurant in a strip mall. Pleasant, courteous staff. Had a chicken salad appetizer conssisting of 3 small lettuce rose's, very fresh and tasty. A little too much food for me as appetizer but if you are hungry you'll enjory. Followed with sole which was pan fried with potatoes and asparagus. Fish was good and was seasoned lightly, very tasty, not overcooked. Potatoes kind of dry and not very tasty. Asparagus was fresh and good.<br/ <br/ Ordered the best Pinot which was pricey at $44 but for a good Bourgogne not unreasonable. Wine was unusual for Burgundy, tasted like it might have been blended with something else but it was good.<br/ <br/ If you are on a budget and want a good meal in pleasant surroundings and are near Valley Fair or Santana Row or visiting the BevMon on Winchester and Stevens Creek, try this out."

This is a 3 star restaurant disguised as a strip mall restaurant. My oh my is it good. Try the shaking beef and the squid and you won't be disappointed!

I like the beef and onion beer egg noodles. The egg rolls were really delicious. I love the passion fruit cream brûlée. Good atmosphere. Def will come back for the shaking beef and the steak.

Excellent food (especially the appetizers) , and great service. An interesting combination of Vietnamese and French cuisines. A fantastic choice if you're at santana row and don't want to eat on the main drag.

Everything I've ordered here has been delicious. Perfectly executed cooking techniques and presentation. Service is great, and the price is very, very reasonable. Especially considering its proximity to Santana Row. View menu

I come from San Francisco at least once a month because the food is that good. Did I say 'Good '? I mean, I LOVE this restaurant! Small, quaint, French-Vietnamese. Hanoi Shrimp Cakes wrapped in lettuce and sweet basil; stuffed beef rolls and shrimp over vermicelli. This place is a fantastic little find. If you really good healthy food, this place is not to be missed.

I’m disappointed to hear that the restaurant will be changing, but I’m confident that the new concept will be amazing. Chef Li is shifting the focus of the restaurant from French/Vietnamese to a strictly Vietnamese menu. Her grilled shrimp and beef with vermicelli noodle bowl is absolutely fantastic! I’m looking forward to the reopening and eager to try the new dishes!

Family owned restaurant next to Santa row. You pick your broth, noodles and meats or veggies. There are also rice or noodle plates with grilled meats, fish or veggies. My beef filet pho was tender, broth was flavorful. Hubby had a seafood with beef broth w tripe and tendon. Flan was a tad sweet and custard like. Complimentary water, tea and condiment bar. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. View menu

I never thought that someone could pull off a French Vietnamese fusion but this place proved me wrong. You get the best of both worlds here. I ordered egg rolls to start which were perfectly crispy and yummy. The French Onion soup was very delicious, the same with the escargot in butter. My main course was the lamb shank which was also cooked to perfection, and the server was always friendly and make great recommendations and wine pairings. I didn't try much of the Vietnamese food but my friend did so I grabbed a couple of bites off his plate and was impressed by the Bo Kho (the beef stew) and the dry noodle bowl with chicken.

I am a vegetarian and a very choosy person when it comes to food. But i do like to try different food and White Shallot French Cuisine is one of my stop in my quest to try different cuisines. Its a small but elegant restaurant. Its clean and i like the feel of the place. I went there with my Friends. I am a vegetarian and was having a hard time choosing the dish. I choose of one the 2 dish available for me(being a veg) and staff there told me that the choice i had made Gratin d 'Aix en Provence '. is a great one. The Staff was very helpful and considerate.   '. Though i was little skepticle about the disk as it containes egg plant which i am not a fan of but voila.. the dish was yummy. I did...
