"Honestly, I've been wanting to hit up Wooly Pig for awhile. It was always either closed or sandos sold out (but that was just one time). The lady who took my order was very nice. It's a straightforward menu, so you're not overwhelmed with too many options. Honestly, because it was my first time I had to go with the sandwich named after the establishment (or maybe it's the other way around). EITHER WAY...it's a pork belly sandwich that gives you a shrimp chip option! I never see that, so that was a nice lil twist. It was a sunny day, sat at the counter looking out to 3rd St. A solid city spot for those not wanting to venture out to other more congested areas of the city. Lots of seating, and just a nice chill spot to grab a bite.I'll be back, now part of my monthly routine in the Dogpatch."

Got the grilled pork Bahn Mi. Super super good. The staff was really nice too. Let me get a sample of the Vietnamese coffee before deciding. Great little placeFood: 5/5

I ordered the green curry burrito and requested to switch the protein from chicken to fish. The flavor was exceptional, but I wish there was more sauce and less rice. Overall, I really loved this fusion burrito.

Curry udon with fried chicken was amazing and surprisingly good. The soup is very flavorful, has nice greens, chicken is tender and well-seasoned, udon is very authentic. Will definitely come back again.Good bagels too!

Fantastic experience! Great food, quick and easy service and fresh ingredients. I appreciated the vegetarian options and good portion sizes as well.Vegetarian options: A few dedicated veggie options plus a few meat based items that could be subbed with tofu. View menu

Tried multiple items in the past and everything is superb!! From the banh mi to the wooly pig. Fresh ingredients and everything is flavorful. Love the unique side options of shrimp chips or sweet potato fries. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.Food: 5/5

I am updating my review with a photo. The Thai steak chopped salad is always my choice for a lighter lunch! The salad dressing is light and doesn't overpower the flavors or feel oily. The ratio of ingredients, including the meat, is just right. Finding parking can be challenging with only metered parking on certain streets, but the area is very walkable, so it doesn't bother me much.

Must grab lunch at this Dogpatch gem! The Bahn Mi is SO good (every variety from classic to vegetarian to fried chicken). The bagel sandwich and breakfast sandwich is delicious, too (served to 11 am). Don't skip the coffee! While not a dedicated coffee shop, they serve some of the best I've had in SF. Love the oat milk lattes and the mocha. All the staff at Wooly Pig are great and the owner is a stand-up guy. Support this business! View menu

We've ordered from Wooly Pig a couple times now for corporate catering and I can't praise them enough!! The owners are the sweetest people to work with and the food is just INSANELY good! It's hard to make larger scale corporate catering taste this delicious and fresh it's clear the ingredients used are high quality! From the steak salad to the curry and all the sandos in between, our office is always stoked when we order from WP! Corri

Wooly Pig is a reliable spot for lunch with an Asian twist. A colleague recommended it to me, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the grilled chicken banh mi, which was decent. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was far from the worst. The chicken could have been more flavorful and I would have liked more sauce on the sandwich, but the bread was perfect and overall it was a satisfying banh mi. The steak salad was also good, but it felt like it needed something extra. I liked the modern and relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. They have a diverse menu, so I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
