"Really great lowkey spot a few blocks away from a friend that we were visiting. We sat outside for a few beers, and our server was sweet very fast. To start we shared the really tasty Pear Goat Cheese salad. Pears were sweet and balanced so nicely with the slightly bitter arugula, goat cheese and tangy lemony dressing. Then we ordered two pizzas, the White Canvas the Funghi, which were tasty fresh out of the brick oven. I enjoyed both but think I'd try others in the future. The real star of the meal for me were the Ricotta meatballs so fluffy and most and well flavored. If I was in the area I'd come back just for them!"

"I visited Mirror Tea House for a relaxing dinner, and it was exactly what I hoped for! The atmosphere was my favorite aspect: with only a few tables, it had a sophisticated yet laid-back vibe, complemented by soft music that made conversation easy. The food was also delightful—my favorites were the avocado bites and the salmon entrée. The entrées are hearty and perfect for sharing between two people, especially if you order a starter. The tea and sake cocktails were fantastic as well. Just a heads-up: be prepared to wait a bit since there’s only one server, but the service was excellent. While I know some people have walked in without a reservation, I highly recommend booking ahead for dinner; I was fortunate to secure a reservation just a few hours before my meal. Overall, a 10/10 experience—I would definitely return!"

"The best in Windsor Terrace probably even all of Brooklyn! Terrace Coffee Shop is our go to. They deliver everywhere and are on all the apps.Wolford is the best cook in Brooklyn and serves up a mean Patty Melt and Tostada. Caesar is awesome, always makes going there a great experience and is great to catch up with.The place has the feel of a small old school mom n pop dinner complete with photos of actors hanging all over the place. "I came originally to see “Rusty Zimmerman’s” we are south Brooklyn art show where my portrait was in and to dine. "This place lives off it's past greatness. The waiting area is first come first served, unless you are a regular who get to skip the line and can place their drink order early. Our server was not good. Took a while, rude and forgetful. Pictures will show you everything. Try to find the sunny side up eggs, none they brought me omelet. Yes taste was good. The place is super loud and it sounds like dishes are being broken every 5 minutes. For the amount you are paying and the tip that is required you can find other near by places. I am giving 3 stars because the food was good."

"I would rate this place as a 3.5 stars. I might consider returning if the food tasted better. I ordered a cheeseburger, but was surprised to find that it only came with one bun, cheese, and a patty. It was served with a side of small pickles and coleslaw. I wasn't expecting any fancy sides like French fries, but I have never had a cheeseburger without lettuce, tomato, and pickles before at a restaurant. The iced coffee was decent, similar in taste to Dunkin' Donuts but cheaper at $3. Despite the name of the coffee shop, they didn't have any specialty coffee drinks, only regular brewed or iced coffee. There were some plastic pastries near the cash register. The restaurant has only 6 tables, so it is quite small, but not crowded."

"We tried the 8oz slush in Strawberry and Banana flavors and it was absolutely delicious. This vegan dessert is a game changer and I doubt I'll ever go back to regular dairy ice cream after trying it. The blueberry peach cheesecake could use some improvement in terms of flavor and taste, but I appreciate the effort to replicate the richness of dairy in a cheesecake. The presentation and use of fresh fruit were impressive. We also enjoyed a strawberry covered doughnut, although a side of plant-based milk would have enhanced the experience for me. Overall, I'm happy that this restaurant exists and it seems to be popular among customers. Their commitment to cruelty-free options is commendable and I recommend supporting this business. I look forward to trying more of their offerings in the future."

"Over fried food so hard it's unedible,3 dishes can't be eaten. Mushy unedible dumplings. 1 order wrong- ordered shrimp in pineapple sauce, but didn't get. Shrimp rolls don't have shrimp, just cabbage. Orange chicken so hard , can't be chewed or eaten. Out of all order only good snapple drinks, egg drop soup and general tso chicken. Everything else had to be thrown into garbage. Never ordering from that place again. Horrible food and bad experience."

"What a great spot! Our first visit. After walking by Panchita's early this week we made a plan to visit today. And boy are we glad we didThe seafood paella was absolutely incredible. Fresh and complex delicious, seafood, and light and flavorful mix of whole-grain rice. This was an absolute surprise and one of the best paellas I've ever had. The warm salad was hearty, fresh and again complex also. We were pleasantly surprised as this is not your typical tomato and melted cheese type of Mexican place that we've seen too many of, but truly well prepared homestyle cooking with fresh ingredients and complex recipes. This was a real treat. We're looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other unique dishes on the menu the sangria was perfect, as was the margarita, bravo! The staff was also super friendly and attentive."

"I usually go for the empanadas here (the cheeseburger one is my favorite), but this time I decided to try something new and ordered the summer salad. It had the perfect balance of greens and other ingredients, all of which were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor—especially impressive for delivery! Although I'm not typically a big salad fan, this was one of the best I've ever had. I'm excited to explore more of their non-empanada options!"

"Was there today and being it was my birthday the owner offered me a crepe on the house, so nice and unexpected!! Not only was the service amazing but the food and atmosphere are also amazing! "I discovered this charming little restaurant after seeing a food photo on Facebook. I had passed by it countless times without giving it much thought, assuming it only served desserts. However, I decided to stop by for breakfast yesterday and ordered the Mexican Omelet. It was delicious! The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The decor is adorable and spotlessly clean, making me feel like I had stepped into a movie from the 1950s. The staff is friendly, and the service is quite fast. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area, especially if I’m heading to the nearby Century 21."

"TLDR: Authentic Italian pasta, bottomless dinner option, great music, impeccable service and fun place to go for any occasion on any day of the week! 10/10 recommend book reservation ASAP because it's always packed. As soon as my friends and I walked in, not only was the music lit, but the restaurant was active... I nearly thought it was lounge because there were so many people dancing at their tables and a group of girls having fun with their friends while dancing on tables. I've been to Italy a few times and I must say, the pasta was the closest I've have to being authentic Italian in a while... As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with fresh Italian bread with this garlic and herb seasoned oil which pairs perfectly well together. If you get the signature Fioretti Alla Boscaiola pasta, beware that the prosciutto is in the sauce instead of bits in the pasta (was a little confused but that . Our server, Edwin took great care of us which elevated my experience so much more! The waiter consistently made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole night : Water cups were always filled and he did everything in his power to accommodate us. Overall Patrizia's is a vibeeee and a restaurant that you will want to return to consistently in NYC!"

"I enjoyed a quick lunch at Swallow and was impressed by the outstanding Apple Cranberry Mixed Greens and the delicious Swallow Sandwich. The cozy cappuccino was a nice touch, but the seating arrangement is quite a challenge, as it's a self-service setup. They don't offer diet sodas, so you'll need to bring your own water, and utensils seem to be finders-keepers. The dessert experience was intriguing with a candy bar selection, but there were no pastries available. One thing to note: there are no restrooms on site. Overall, the food was fantastic, but the service definitely needs improvement."

"Was there waiting for someone. Wanted to get some hot soup, ordered the lentil, bowl size. Clueless girl said she wasn't sure if they had lentil, though it was clearly stated on the board: lentil, tomato soup and chicken noodle. She had to ask the guy in the back (probably manager). They had lentil. Then she asks me what size, 16 oz or 32 oz? I look at the sign: Bowl was $5.50, cup was $3.50. I said the bowl. She was confused. I said whatever the sign said I'll get the bowl, which didn't say the size. She had to ask the guy in the back again. Bowl. So she rings me up and it's... $9.80 (w/ tax)! But the sign says, $5.50 for the bowl, not $9.80, I told her and pulled out the sign to point to it. Clueless girl goes in the back, meanwhile I see another sign behind her that that says: Special: soup with american grilled cheese sandwich: $9! The girl and the surly manager comes back. It's $9 for a bowl, surly manager says; but I told him this sign says, $5.50 for the bowl, not $9. Is this sign wrong? It's old he said. Ok, if I'm gonna pay the $9 I might as well get the soup and the grilled cheese sandwich special. And I told him you need to fix your signs, get it right. He gave me more attitude grumbled more whether I wanted tomato or lentil. Lentil I said. Then he stomps back to the kitchen. Part of running a cafe or any eatery is customer service. Clueless girl and surly angry manager is not customer service; it's customer AWFUL. But if there's a good thing in this, the lentil soup was hot and good and so was the excellent grilled cheese sandwich. Hope he didn't spit on my food."
