"Have eaten breakfast at this establishment for years with no complaints but today was different..the so called manager is clueless of what is on the menu apparently..we ordered a sausage egg cheese platter...in the past the platter came with a biscuit eggs sausage and a choice of either bo rounds or grits..for starters they had no grits and we ordered 4 cinnamon biscuits..and was told there was a 5 minute wait on the biscuits..we get to the window to pay and is told they only had two cinnamon biscuits..at this point I'm just ready to cancel the entire order but my boyfriend said just get the two biscuits so we did..and was charged another 4.00 for the two biscuits which we questioned why another 4.00 when we was already quoted a price when we placed the original order with 4 cinnamon biscuits and was told she didn't include the price of the cinnamon biscuits to the order she just charged for the two platters..when we get the bag with our orders my boyfriend looks at the receipt and there is no information of what we ordered or prices on it so he went inside to let them know he wanted the receipt that showed what we ordered and what we was charged...the manager admitted she gave us the wrong part of the receipt and gave my boyfriend the correct one and we left the establishment..we get home and open what was suppose to be sausage egg and cheese platters and there was no biscuit and no bo rounds...my boyfriend at this time was over it..we was charged basically 21.00 for two cinnamon biscuits and some eggs coz we was told the sausage was an extra charge...we was done!!..my boyfriend took it all backed and got a refund...my recommendation is to teach this so called manager what a platter is...noone wants to pay 8.95 just for some eggs!!"

"Dining room was closed early so we utilized the drive thru, where we were greeted by an automated system that system also took our order, what little it said was available. It took quite some time to order because multiple items were unavailable more than 2 hours before closing. When we arrived at the window we were told the fryer and the grill were already cleaned and shut down. The food we received was not hot and rather disappointing. My kids didn 't want to finish their portions because it was cold. The staff seemed friendly enough, but they were very ready to leave well before closing time. "I visited the restaurant at 9:30 a.m. and was informed that they only had two chicken breasts left. However, they assured me they would make it right. After waiting for 9 minutes to get home, I discovered that five pieces were actually missing from my order. I called the restaurant, and they acknowledged their mistake. Initially, we were uncertain about going back, but the manager reached out to us and insisted on resolving the issue. When we returned, they not only provided the missing chicken wings but also generously included six delicious Bojangles' biscuits, a dozen chicken fingers, and six cookies as an apology. The staff was friendly and delivered outstanding customer service. The chicken was tasty, and they truly went the extra mile to make things right. It's also worth noting that the store was technically closed when we arrived, but they stayed open to rectify the situation. Truly impressive service!"

"I rarely eat fried food, but once in a while when I want some fried chicken, this is my favorite place for it because they not only have my favorite fried chicken, but have some great sides. My favorites are their cole slaw and dirty rice! The service at this particular Bojangles, was excellent! That great Southern hospitality."

"Before the pandemic, this restaurant offered an all-you-can-eat chicken and sides special for just $6.99 from 4 to 8 PM. I'm not sure if they still have this deal post-COVID, but when they did, it was an amazing opportunity to enjoy good chicken and delicious sides. I even drove people from Norfolk just to share this gem of Virginia Beach with them, and it did not disappoint! However, I called them recently and found out they no longer offer that special. Nonetheless, I still love Bojangles for their chicken and sides. You can’t go wrong with the dirty rice, macaroni, Bo-rounds, and beans. Plus, the cookies are fantastic!"

"Usually I have a pleasant experience from the person taken my order to picking up my order from the window and everyone is friendly and nice. Not this experience though. The girl took my order and told me to come around to the second window, this fella come to the window and I asked him didn't I come to the wrong window we laughed he said it was alright but was cut off by the girl coming to the window. She was rude and disrespectful. She told me my total but didn't give me a receipt. She just about threw the box at me where I almost lost it. Then I had to knock on the window to get some Texas Pete and honey said she was out of ranch no problem before I could ask for napkins she closed the window on me. I couldn't believe how rude and unfriendly. We spend alot of money on food there. She is running the customer's away. They don't want to come back to attitude and rudeness."

"It's 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday and this Bojangles will not answer their phone. I had a large order I wanted to schedule for next week but now I'll have to go somewhere else. The lobby appears to be closed and the doors are locked although there is a line around the building in the Drive-Thru. I've literally watched no less than seven people walk up to the door only to find that it's locked. Would it be too much trouble to put a sign on the door or maybe update your information on Google so that people don't waste their time? Makes no sense why no one would answer the phone after calling four times. It's obvious that someone is in the building working. It also makes no sense why their lobby would be closed on a Saturday, their busiest day. You've guys have got to do better than this! Hardee's is no longer your next door competition so here's your chance to stand out and make a name for yourself in the breakfast biscuit market which is pretty strong in the south."

"My partner and I visited this restaurant for breakfast last week, and unfortunately, we both ended up with food poisoning. The only items we had in common were the biscuits and the sweet potato pies. We're not sure which one was to blame, but we suspect it might have been the biscuits. Because of this experience, we will be avoiding this place in the future. We ordered takeout, and the meal cost between $10 and $20 per person. I would give the food a rating of 1, while the service and atmosphere both deserve a 4. There was plenty of parking available in the free lot."

"After placing my order and paying with a young lady, who was very rude and nasty from the moment I walked in, I was told what I just paid for was not available. Obviously I requested a refund which resulted in the young lady then proceeding to trash talk about me in front of me to her coworkers none of whom were professional. It truly seems like the managers specifically the one I interacted with are just overwhelmed and not willing to help their team be professional. It's fast food if you don't like people you shouldn't work there. It's clear that the young lady who was at the front register has very little home training or training from her managers on how to interact with customers. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't frequent any other Bojangles' location most certainly not this one ever again!"

"This place is awesome. They are under new management and all of the staff is friendly, the place is clean and you get double the food you expect in a plate. The fried chicken is the best in town. "I stopped by for a biscuit this morning; even though the hours were posted stating that the dining room was open, the doors were locked. When I went through the drive through, I told them what had happened to me and several other customers. I suggested they put a sign on the door to prevent customers from yanking on them, and I was told they can yank for all I care. I politely asked why Bojangles felt the need to be so unfriendly to customers; however, the drive through window was slammed shut before I could finish my sentence. I will spend my money elsewhere in the future, and I suggest others do the same. As demonstrated by their attitudes, some of the staff at this location do not need the store to remain open to provide them with an income."

"I have visited this Bojangles around 6-8 times in the last year and a half, so my review is based on my cumulative experience. I find the food inconsistent. There are times where everything is fresh and delicious. Other times the biscuit has been dry and the chicken really tough. Sometimes the fries are seasoned, but other times they are not, and I?m not sure why it changes. The service has always been on the poor side. I tried asking questions about how to order certain items in a combo or if they needed to be separate, but they couldn?t help. Those taking the order are normally short with you. The last cashier simply said, ?Drink,? rather than asking what I would like to drink, and she sounded extremely irritated. I considered three stars based on my overall experiences over the last 18 months, but the quality of the food has declined in the past several months. Unfortunately, I don?t think I?ll be going much, if at all, any longer since it seems to be getting worse continually."

"They were actually open when I drove by 4/18 around 11am. They weren’t busy with only one car in front of me and two employees standing in a doorway on the side of building. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese combo. Easy pleasy. Got to work and it was an old steak biscuit. Even said bacon egg and cheese combo on ticket. To the owners; if these employees tell you they need more money, don’t fall for it. First, replace them with competent staff, then pay them accordingly. There’s plenty of people coming over our border who will gladly work for you. But you have to hire functioning people to begin with."

"Southern delight! I dropped in this evening for a Cajun filet biscuit and some seasoned fries. The fried chicken was absolutely fantastic, but those Cajun filet biscuits? They were truly exceptional! The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. They even asked me if I could wait five minutes for "fresh hot chicken." Who could refuse that? It was an amazing experience with excellent value, welcoming service, and piping hot chicken. I highly recommend it!"

"The restaurant needs to hire staff who are willing to do their job. We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and they had already closed off the seating area (an hour and a half before closing time) while we waited for someone to take our order. When the server finally approached us, she did not seem pleased. When we got home, we realized that instead of receiving two upper legs and one breast, our three-piece dinner only had two legs and one upper leg. I don't frequent this restaurant often and most likely will not be returning anytime soon."

"My order was supposed to be ready at 7:27 . I got to the drive thru window at 7:26 and let them know I had a mobile order and they told me to park in the curbside parking. 7:48 I ended up going inside the store to see if my order was ready and they never started working on it. "Listen I love this location, I do, but sometimes you guys over fry the tenders so that’s why I put 4 stars rather than 5. Other than that, this location has some of the nicest employees I’ve met from a fast food place. They’re always kind and sometimes (when it’s not too busy) will take the time to make positive small talk with you at the window which is nice considering they don’t have to but they choose to <3 this location also gives you extra sauce sometimes when they’re out of your original sauce option and have to choose something different. Love you guys, ur my favorite Bojangles. Also shout out to Doug at this location, he always says at the mic “welcome to Bojangles, this is Doug, how can I serve you?” (Such a fancy introduction, love it) and never makes you feel rushed to figure out your order, he has taken my order most times I’ve gone to this location. "I ordered two supreme meals, and unfortunately, my chicken strips were cold and dry, and the macaroni didn't taste good at all. I'm really surprised, as I haven't been here in years, and I was excited to finally come back for some great food, only to be let down. I distinctly remember the macaroni being much better than what I had this time. It's disappointing. I opted for three stars instead of one because I recall enjoying the food in the past, so maybe it was just an off day.
