"During my 23 years of working in New York City, I have dined at countless Italian restaurants, but none compare to Nocello. The delightful atmosphere, prompt and friendly service, and extraordinary food truly set it apart. My wife and I stumbled upon Nocello while searching for a dining option during a conference trip, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the dishes. The Caprese di Stagione salad, featuring ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, basil, and balsamic, was flawless, and the Pasta e Fagioli was fantastic. On our second night, we decided to forgo our reservation at Tavern on the Green in favor of returning to Nocello, where we savored a special Saffron Risotto with bay scallops and Gnocchi al Pesto. The host couple welcomed us warmly, making us feel like part of the family and offering us digestifs after dinner each night. We will undoubtedly be back to Nocello in the future; it has quickly become our favorite restaurant in the city."

Nocello is a great family-owned restaurant serving an extensive menu of authentic and delicious Tuscan food. The wine list is extensive, the service is attentive, and the food is superb. Located within walking distance of the Theater District and the Metropolitan Opera, this is the perfect pre-performance dinner spot; reservations begin at 4:00 pm, allowing for a leisurely meal.

Absolutely fantastic. We were exhausted and famished. Walked past this gorgeous, dimly-lit establishment with couples sitting outside and street level windows opened to let the evening breeze in. We, like the breeze, felt welcome. Their staff is phenomenal. Their specials all made me put the menu down as it was hard enough to choose between their tasty temptations.
