"the service was impeccable. the waiting staff met all the needs. they were friendly and very friendly. the food was excellent. I was amazed at the taste of the green (I had it as a side), they were so tasteful. it was a surprise from a Mexican restaurant. they taste better than I had at some soul food restaurants. the only complaining was the guacamole, surprisingly, had no taste. I was disappointed. we had to add lime and jalapeno pepper. it helped a little, so when they order, they tell them to make it spicy and make it cool."

I went to brunch on vaterday. the roasted chicken, collar and maish potatoes were delicious. the personal was polite and the owner came out to tell us a few words. I told him that the culinary experience has exceeded my expectations.

Always comfortable, steady comfort food and uncrowded. Not pleased by feeling nickel dimed by policy of charging for vegetable substitution after having ordered three entrees and drinks. Seems penny wise and pound foolish on part of mgmnt.

quiet Friday evening after Thanksgiving and we needed a place to dinner with our daughter and her family including our granddaughter 3 and 6! also to vegetarian a lot of tastes of steak. this is the perfect place where all the girls and the elders were especially happy! and with half price flake wein during the happy hour it was a great worth! we had a great time at 107 west. the server and the matre d’hotel and the owner were charming and so helpful. eating tends to high-end Mexico (not Tex-Mex-- much better), but has other options. the large list of nightly specialties keeps the menu alive. it is good, solid tasty foods to cheap relatiw. this is a popular quarter. we were there on Thursday night and the restaurant was full. We will be back.

I have been here a few times. Despite some positive reviews it never seems well frequented. Especially compared to a few places within shouting distance. Service was friendly but not that attentive, especially given the fact that there were only a few other occupied tables although the bar stools were filled. The fried chicken was good but the burgers were obviously frozen patties. Drinks are not cheap. I can only recommend this place if you need a quick bite in this neighborhood and want something safe but not spectacular.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
