"801 Fish is overpriced. I assume it's overpriced because of the location and also because of the freshness of the fish. The food itself is ok. The shrimp shishito tempura was mostly breading, no seasoning, and overcooked. The brussels sprouts were good, the mussels were delicious. The sauce the mussels came in was nice and well seasoned. The drinks were good but definitely not necessary to be $16 $18 dollars for an 8oz cup that was mostly ice or a huge ice cube. The entrees were good. The Blue Snapper and the halibut were tasty, slightly overcooked. The garnish was nice as well. to pay $40 $50 for a smedium size fish was overpriced. Our server, Robin was great. She had great knowledge of the dishes and made good recommendations based on the menu. She was attentive and made sure we were doing well throughout our meal. She was friendly and made pleasant conversation. Our food came out in good timing, and the hostess was nice. I am grateful they validate parking. They do have valet service. The restaurant itself is a nice place. Loved the decor and the ambiance. The music was a nice touch. This is my second time coming to 801 Fish and I can say its an ok experience."

The ambiance here is always fantastic, featuring a variety of diverse dishes alongside some beloved classics. My wife and I enjoy dining here, and there are still many items on the menu that we haven't tried yet. View menu

I was really looking forward to dining here, I got seated and (Nikki) my server came out with water. I asked for no ice and she put her hand over the mouth of the water jug to hold back the ice..! My “drinking water” ran through her fingers. And she was proud to have held back the ice.Gross! I left the restaurant and went next door. Service: 2

As for the service, it has also deteriorated considerably. One of the servers comes across as arrogant, lacking warmth, and is quite cold and unfriendly. During my latest visit, our server was absent for long periods, and I eventually had to ask another server to take our order for drinks and food. While the seafood has remained consistently good, the rest of the menu has not met expectations. It seems others have noticed too, as I now receive regular offers and discounts from 801 Fish to encourage diners to come in. My suggestion? Replace the chef, bring back the previous menu items, and retrain the staff on service and hospitality. View menu

We visited this restaurant for our first romantic dinner and were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was lovely and comfortable. The dining area was spacious and charmingly decorated. Our server was outstanding; he knew the menu inside and out and took the time to explain how each dish was prepared. He made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I ordered the Alaskan halibut, which was moist, tender, and full of flavor. The flash-fried Brussels sprouts and lobster fried rice were also delicious. I enjoyed a Negroni that was perfectly made. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience. While the prices were on the higher side, we plan to return.

You will pay at least $50 per entrée here. The average bottle of wine is about $150 but they do have a few bottles for approximately $60. Here’s my rating of each food item we tried: Chilean Seabass: 3/10 No seasoning/flavor whatsoever Red Snapper: 5/10 Insufficient seasoning Fried Lobster Rice: 1/10 This was TERRIBLE! Wedged Caesar salad: 10/10 Excellent This place was an awful disappointment. The food and service are not commensurate with the menu prices! Our waiter was extremely mediocre- good guy just not a good waiter. He was completely unfamiliar with the wine list. He also allowed us to order a dish with undisclosed pork, even though we made it clear that we did not eat pork. He then...
