"I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at A1. I was invited by some friends, and having had some bad experiences with Chinese buffets in the past, I came prepared. I even made a joke about needing to brace myself for any potential disasters! However, to my delight, I had a fantastic meal. I sampled a little bit of everything, and not a single dish let me down. The sushi was particularly impressive, although I almost mistakenly grabbed a piece of raw beef meant for another dish, thinking it was beef tartare. Lesson learned! Overall, a great dining experience!"

During the busy meal hours, the time seemed to fly by. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of almost everything we tried—except for the sushi. The variety was impressive, and the addition of the bar was a great touch.

The food was fresh and very well prepared. My waitress along with Everyone else working there was very friendly and provided prompt service. This was the first Chinese food I've had since moving to Charleston 8 months ago and I would recommend them to anyone. Many different varieties of food, including all types of seafood all you can eat for $12.50 per person. Happy I found this place and will definitely come back again. View menu

Don’t miss out on the warm dessert options found next to the regular food—one night, there was a surprisingly good custard dessert labeled as "pork chop," but it was definitely dessert! As for the cold dessert options, they typically include the usual Chinese buffet staples like solid jello, pudding, fruit, and small pre-packaged cakes. Unfortunately, the cakes can often be a bit stale. But honestly, I don't go to a Chinese buffet for the cakes and pastries. At just $10, it’s an excellent value, and I'm really glad we have this Chinese buffet in town!
