"5-Star Lunch! This was our first visit, and we were impressed by the extensive menu offering both breakfast and lunch options. Today, we ordered the regular-sized Three Cheese Grilled Cheese, the regular-sized Chipotle Grilled Chicken sandwich, and the large Beer Braised Brisket sandwich. All sandwiches came with house-made lattice-cut potato chips, and we also got a side of German Potato Salad. To our delight, they served each of us a fresh hush puppy to try, which had a delicious hint of jalapeño at the end. They bake their own bread on-site, and it was both tasty and soft. Everything was full of flavor; the meats were particularly delicious, and even the chipotle seasoning on the chicken was mild. The Beer Braised Brisket, which was highly recommended, lived up to its reputation with a wonderful flavor and was incredibly moist and tender. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who took the time to share menu details with us. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The cozy café offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We traveled about 45 minutes to visit this gem in Longwood, thanks to Yelp, and it was definitely worth it. This is a fantastic place to experience!"

Absolutely amazing flavors! I had the Chipotle chicken pressed sandwich. The black beans and the sauce and cheese and the WHOLE DARN SANDWICH! *actively drooling thinking about it* Also the fact that this is a family owned/family run shop. The service here is something to be modeled after. Andy, I loved this experience and will definitely return, VERY SOON.

I was recommended this restaurant by several people, so when I was in the area for lunch, I decided to check it out. Right away, I was welcomed with a tasting, and the person at the counter was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us. I ordered the crunchy chicken, and it was quite delicious. I’ll definitely be bringing my wife here in the future!

A friend of mine recommended it. I had the Cuban sandwich and I also had some of the jalapeno hush puppies. The sandwich was outstanding and the hush puppies were the first ones I have ever liked to my life. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back. My friend had one of the breakfast bowls and said he has never had a bad meal there. Everything has always been outstanding.

This is a fantastic place for a delicious and affordable lunch. The food is truly one-of-a-kind, and they even offer Hush Puppies while you wait in line. For around $20-23, you can enjoy lunch for two. The sandwiches are outstanding, and the chips are quite distinctive. I love this place! The owners are some of the most hospitable group od people that I have met. Everything that I have tried from here is amazing . My favorite is the crunchy chicken sandwich which has kind of ruined have a chicken sandwich from other places. Things come out fresh and piping hot which is awesome. They also have great hush puppies. I'm definitely not one to ever like hush puppies but the ones here are great.

First visit- was offered a sample of the jalapeno corn fritter with remoulade,a little too crispy on the outside,but taste and sauce was good.they are tasty And the heat is mild.chicken BLT was very good,larger than expected and house made chips are fresh and seasoned. Cheese burger was very flavourful and on a bed of arugula and black beans instead of bun.only a handful of tables available inside,and a lot of to go orders were bieng picked up. Staff is friendly,would definitely try other items on menu ,it was hard to choose.

I been trying to stop in here since they opened and boy did they not disappoint. I entered Aj's and was greeted by Andy (owner) and daughter. She told me the favorites on the menu and gave us 2 hush puppies as a sample and they were delicious. Jalepeno and bacon hush puppies with a mild sauce A+. I ordered the brisket sandwich and the pork mojo sandwich. Both sandwiches were A+, very flavorful, bread was soft yet crispy. Being a former New Yorker myself I highly recommend Aj's and I will be back for sure.
