I did an online order and the food potion and quality was terrible. when I spoke to the management they refused to give me a refund or store credit

The food is good as well as the service.Nice atmosphere, reminds you of a miniature Benihana's but a tad cheaper, not much though. I do recommend this spot and will come again.

The food is very good but it smells so bad in the place from the bathroom sewer issue. It actually smell like piles of fresh POOP!!!! IT IS SO BAD !!! I feel so pad to have to report this but it needs to be said. I literally got SICK TO my stomach.

Akita Hibachi Sushi Grill is one of my favorites in Cedar Hill. Every time I go, my experience is always great. I usually go during lunch, my wait time is always short, the service is quick, and most importantly the food is so good. I've been able to try their chicken, steak, shrimp, and veggie hibachi, salad, soup, and shrimp and veggie tempura and I love it all. It's the way everything is seasoned and cooked that makes it so good to me. I also love seeing my food cooked in front of me and having the option to sit at a booth.

So I came here for the first time with my friends and everything was going well, food was amazing service was pretty good. But it wasn 't until I started to notice water leaking from the ceiling, I looked up and saw it was super moldy. I was wondering why I was feeling weird like I couldn 't breathe very well. So I asked to speak to a manager, and when I did I let him know about the leak and he said oh yea I know and then he proceeded to point at another leak and say there 's one too I told him I was concerned about getting sick and also for other people he didn 't care all he said was if you get sick just call the restaurant. We recently went to Akita. The parking lot was full and the reviews were ok . We walked in and it was just as packed as the parking lot. There was about a 20 min wait. No problem. There was an issue in the bar area and the manager on duty and the hosts showed their displeasure (rolling eyes, laughing). It was all due to a tip being added to the tab for a party of 2. Dined in and had dinner with my son, only for our waitress to be rude! (older lady) It started when my son stated that he didn't want any veggies, and I said that I'd take his veggies since they come with the entree. The waitress had an issue with that, as if she didn't want me to have the extra veggies that I was paying for! This was my first and my last visit to this restaurant. The food was just ok. It lacked flavor and the portion size for carry out is small considering the price. I ordered 3 Teriyaki Chicken entrees with the upcharged of Chicken fried rice. There was no chicken in the upcharged chicken fried rice. The Teriyaki chicken tasted like some American baked chicken without any flavor. I even paid for additional teriyaki sauce and it still diid not get any better.
