"I've lived in the Crystal Lake area for about 6 years and I've known about this gem for a few years. And I'm just doing a review now. We were actually introduced to Alfredo's pizza at a neighbor's house during a birthday party. They ordered like 6 different pies to try and all were an absolute hit. I don't remember exactly which pizzas they were, as this was quite a few years ago but 1 specific pie did stick out above the rest. I'm from Elgin and there's a pizza place from there called Zza Factory and they have a pie called the Chicago Fire. On this pizza there is Italian beef and hot giardiniera. I crave this pizza every so often and being that Elgin is a hike from Crystal Lake I needed to find something that would fulfill this craving. The pizza from the Zza Factory is more of a Detroit style pizza with the thicker crust and Alfredo's pizza is not like this at all. If you're looking for good Detroit Style pizza, look up La Pizza Via in Fox River Grove. My go to at Alfredo's is the thin crust Italian beef pizza with hot giardiniera. This pizza nails everything correctly from the cheese to the sauce to the crust, EVERTHING just works and your taste buds will thank you for trying this pizza. Alfredo's Pizza is usually a forgotten thought on our dinner selection but this isn't a bad thing. The reason why this isn't a bad thing is because it's like a special occasion pizza. We might have it 2 or 3 times a year but every time we order, we remember why we love this place to begin with and how good it is. We've gotten the wings, boneless and traditional before and it's good. Being Laotian, we are very picky about our wings. I remember my friend Rashad telling me, I thought I've seen my family put down some chicken.... boy was I wrong... until I saw my Laotian homeboy and his family put down some wings, they can put down some chicken"

I had the lasagna dinner, which came with two meatballs and a side salad. Delicious!! I give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it.

A few years ago, this place had the best pizza in town. However, recently they have been consistently getting orders wrong, burning the pizza, and overcharging customers. They also have poor customer service and blame the customer for any mistakes. With plenty of other pizza places to choose from, it's time to dine elsewhere.

I have ordered catering from this restaurant twice in the past few years. They are extremely helpful and prompt. The food was always delicious and fresh. The last time I was running a little late to pick up my order, and they actually called me to remind me that it was ready, thinking I had forgotten. I appreciate their attention to detail and will definitely be using their services again this year.

I was just told Alfredos in LITH was under new management as of last month when I called to let them know that the quality of Italian beef sandwich they are giving customers is foul. It was cold, bone dry (like au jus AT ALL), smelled rancid and was a greyish color that is hard to portray through photos. And look at all of that fat! The giardiniera was swimming in oil. Like a cup of oil and maybe 5 pieces of vegetables. Barely any sauce on pasta and they apparently can no longer substitute a different sauce with their pasta.
