"This has been my go to for several months. Recently we had some sub par food from here and decided to try again and it was just as bad. We called and found out they changed management and redid most of their recipes and started using a home-made pizza stone which gives the entire pizza a crispy texture and have started making them much thinner/less substantial. The baked ziti has a gritty texture, lacks any substantial tomato sauce flavor, and the person on the phone confirmed they stopped using some spices including garlic powder because they can cause issues for some people . If you 're interested in bland food with a hand wavy it 's better for you , then I guess this is the place for you now. Rest in peace original Alfredo 's--EDITI talked with the new management and see they are switching to a more Mediterranean style while keeping the branding, which explains a lot. I personally don 't agree with this since the existing customers are expecting Italian style food when ordering, though added a star since I 'm judging it as an Italian restaurant when isn 't one anymore."

Pizza was not fully cooked, had a funky taste, like some of the ingredients had gone bad. Only thing that was good was the dough and crust. Based on the reviews this was a surprise, new owners?

Help!!! I can’t stop eating here!!!! The chicken Murphy is unreal. The meatball sub tiramisu are amazing! This place is going to take all my money and I’m not mad about it.This is also review number #1,000 for their restaurant so that’s pretty cool! To many more 5 star reviews Alfredo’s!

I waited five minutes to be seated despite the restaurant being empty. The food took a while to arrive, and when it finally did, it was nothing remarkable. I was surprised by the high ratings. Overall, it’s not a place I would recommend stopping by in Dallas, as there are plenty of better dining options available.

This place screams no...but the reviews speak for themselves. The price point is great, especially for the quantity you get. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. The interior could stay as old and dusty as it us if the prices stay the same. You get great local servers and they are so kind. The owner is an amazing woman and her son owns and runs another restaurant in lubbock, TX called Italian garden which is just as good and fresh with great service. View menu

Since the original family sold, quality and experience has gone way down. The restaurant smelled like sewer. The food was disappointing, to say the least. I pulled two bristles out of my mouth from the garlic toast I'm assuming they used a brush to apply butter or olive oil and it was falling apart. The food tasted frozen and was not what I ordered. The paper napkin they brought me had a food stain on it.Disgusting conditions, in my opinion.I will not be returning.

The worst food experience ever! We haven't eaten at Alfredo's in about a year and a half. The food and service back then was excellent. BUT THEY HAVE SOLD TO ANOTHER OWNER and today was horrible! Bread was dry, chicken for the Masala, Alfredo and Murphy looked like the prepackaged and tasted like John Soules rotisserie chicken in horrible sauces. Salad came with lettuce and diced canned red peppers no tomatoes. Spaghetti and Meatballs came out with meatballs cold and hard in the center. We canceled our order and walked out. Won't be back!

We were in town for a swimming meet and decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. Swimmers need a carb-rich diet, and Italian cuisine is a popular choice. Several families visited the restaurant, and we all agreed it was probably the worst Italian food we've ever had. I appreciate you correcting my spelling. If the locals enjoy your food, that's great for your business. However, as frequent travelers for swim meets, we rely heavily on reviews to choose restaurants. Coming from Austin, which offers plenty of excellent dining options, your restaurant just didn't meet our expectations of a 4.5-star experience. That’s all. View menu

We chose this restaurant based on its glowing reviews, but as soon as we sat down and started to look around, we were shocked by how dirty it was. Initially, I thought it might just be an isolated oversight, but after taking a walk around the restaurant and checking the bathroom, I was appalled—everything was filthy. I simply couldn't bring myself to eat there. We decided to leave and explained our reasons to the waitress. I sincerely hope the owner has been informed about the situation, though it’s possible they haven’t had the chance to see it for themselves. This place really needs a thorough cleaning if it hasn’t been addressed yet!

The service was extremely slow, and we had to ask for everything. We ordered garlic cheese bread but were served plain garlic bread instead, which meant another delay while we waited for the server to correct the mistake. We also had to request silverware, which we still hadn't received at that point. In hindsight, we probably should have left at that moment, but we hoped things would improve, which they didn’t. I’m baffled as to how this place has a 4.5 rating; it certainly does not deserve it. I understand it has recently changed ownership, and I wouldn’t recommend spending your money or time here until they learn how to manage a restaurant effectively. On the Saturday we visited, there...
