"This was our first time here and it was very good. Staff was exceptionally helpful, but waiter was a bit too much of a salesperson for my taste. Extensive drink menu and a huge rum menu. We shared empanadas as an appetizer. They were larger than we were told, two to three bites each. We did not need two orders. I had the goat which was excellent. The others had the Ropa Vieja, also good, the Vaca Frita, and the Sugarcane tuna. Everything was tasty and hot. The pace of the meal was perfect. I wanted to try dessert, but was so full by the time we finished the entrees that we decided to skip it this time. Definitely worth another trip."

Great service and ambiance. The appetizers were scrumptious. This restaurant is a bit pricey but worth it. Must try the suave mojito. Definitely will be going back again.

We were not greeted by a server for at least 10 minutes and the restaurant was mostly empty at the time. One entree came to the table lukewarm. We will not go back very disappointing.

Love this place for the atmosphere, comfortable sitting, and tasty cuisine. In addition, their happy hours are from 5 to 7 pm every weekday with amazing sangrias, mojitos and marlin tacos.

Love this place- especially for happy hour! Their appetizers are delicious, filling, and super inexpensive during HH and their drinks are delicious! Definitely try the fried yucca and the flavored mojitos (frozen guava was my fave). View menu

Great food and great experience....we visited on center city Philadelphia restaurant week. they are offering 35$/person for 3 course meal .. Appetizer-entree-dessert. habe posted pic for food drinks and dessert. customer service was great but they were little quick...wwas understandable as it's restaurant week. For Cuban food they have taste very authentic and ambience is good but little crowded .... overall it's a place worth visiting.

The whole experience was terrific. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and were seated right away. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Our server made helpful recommendations on menu items. Food was excellent. It was a bit dark, but not so bad that I couldn’t see or read the menu. We were seated on the top floor, so noise was not a problem, but i could see noise being a bit of an issue on the lower levels, especially the ground bar level. Prices were high but worth it and expected at a restaurant of this quality in downtown Philly. I would return and would recommend.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
