"Pretty good Afghan/Mediterranean food in the Russian Hill area. Definitely more pricey than I thought it should be given the portion size and type of restaurant. The food was pretty good, but nothing too amazing.I'm surprised at how raving the rest of the reviews are here, nothing stuck out here as much as I was expected. Oh well, maybe I ordered the wrong stuff. Definitely worth a second try in the future."

I am not sure why this comes up as Ameer Kabob (Hummus Grill) is the correct name. This place is pretty consistent.

The quality here is outstanding. As an Arab, I felt a sense of pride in bringing my business and my appetite to this restaurant.

Their chicken shawarma used to be the best I’ve ever had, but it has changed so much that it’s now terrible. The chicken is bland, the sauce lacks excitement, and the greasy pita chips are gone. The dish has completely lost its flavor.

It's the worst place, few weeks ago I ordered beef kofta kabob after I left I find it chicken, I fid not give them negative feedback for that. Today I ordered again I find my self on the same mistake. I never come back to this disaster place. View menu

The beef kabob wrap was incredibly bland—honestly, even the hot sauce lacked flavor. There was no taste whatsoever. I'm not sure who their target customers are, but if you're in the mood for Middle Eastern cuisine, you should definitely look elsewhere. Food rating: 1/5.

I am confused is this place Ameer Kabob or Hummus Grill. I ordered this online when I arrived the name of the place was Hummus Grill. In any case, ordered 2 Falafel Wrap and baba ganoush. It was decent. I was put off by the confusing name and also the cashier making me repeat my name three times. What's that about?!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
