"The Back Porch has been a family favorite for many years, but Easter dinner on Sunday was a true disappointment for us. Salad was good but we miss the basket of fresh bread and muffins (they even used to serve apple butter, but not for years now); the small rolls were just OK. Menu was standard but the only seafood option was scallops or salmon added to a salad or entree....what happened to the walnut salmon small plate? We had an underwhelming plate of pasta with soupy vodka sauce and a tiny, thin, dried piece of grilled salmon on the side. Service was loud and snippy, when I said I thought the pasta was penne, the reply was No, spaghetti . Sides used to come with an entree and we were not advised that the ala carte sides were large enough to share but heard a neighboring table being told, after we ordered. Altogether a disappointing visit this time and we will think twice before returning, which makes us sad. Kimberly R. Bethel Park, PA"

"Traveling from out of town with my band, and I suggested benihana as a fun first night of tour and so very glad we came here and had quite a night! Unassuming facade, but I liked the vibe very much indoors. I could tell as it was a Wednesday night, probably not the busiest, but we had great service, our food was amazing, and let's be real, the benihana was SO FUN! The sake was great and it paired quite well with a spicy tuna roll i started with. I do like that benihana meal gets you soup and salad, nice way to stave off the hunger for the show. Our chef was funny, played with us a bunch, made a ton of great jokes, and the food and drinks just kept flowing! I definitely over ate my scallops and steak, but both were cooke excellently and I LOVED the noodles that came with. This was a nice gem and a super fun experience. Word to the wise, the scorpion bowl is awesome, but it does sneak up on you really quickly if you're not careful haha!"

"Many, many years ago, we tried River House, and were not really fans. I thought the hype in the area was not deserved. It just didn 't really do it for us. Recently, we thought, let 's give them another chance. I was told they redid a lot of things, so it was worth a shot. I am extremely happy that we did. The menu choices and options are great. Lots, and I mean LOTS, of things for everyone. The atmosphere is fantastic, and we love what they did with the decoration and overall feel of the place. Our recent trips have included trying the Mediterranean Chicken (very good! , the Pot Roast (also really good! , Wings, Alfredo, and Tenders basket. I also tried the French Onion soup, but it wasn 't my favorite I 've had. The alfredo was ok , but it reminded me a lot of the quick jar of Ragu brand that I have had before from the store. This was on the kids alfredo, though, so I don 't know if maybe the adult dinner would be different? Everything else, though, was very good! Excellent desserts, too! LOTS of options, all very good! I will also say that the past few times we 've gone, the service has been fantastic. We do look forward to going back and trying many more things on their menu, and I will update accordingly."

"Without a doubt, this is the best Chinese food I've ever had! Don’t be deceived by the exterior of the building; it’s much more than just a hole-in-the-wall. The interior is clean and visually attractive. We were seated quickly, and our waiter greeted us with crispy chips and offered assistance with the menu. The hot and sour soup was fantastic, and the egg rolls were equally delicious. Both the main dishes we ordered were excellent as well. I highly recommend the Mia Fun Special!"
