"Went for breakfast here this morning with my wife and son and was a great experience. The service was fantastic, really friendly and fast and efficient and made sure you were well looked after. The food was a great surprise as didn?t expect it tobe as good as it was, was definitely worth far more than they charge. I had the Californian Benedict which was a great take onEggs Benedict. We also had the Nutella Pancakes and Poached eggs on toast and they were just as good. If you are near Astrosin Midtown then definitely drop in for breakfast when you are in New York you will not be disappointed."

Amazing and friendly service. The atmosphere was very inviting with everyone talking and enjoying their food. I got the Californian Benedict, and it was delicious. The portion was great for the price!

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Waitress was very personable and attentive to our needs. The portions for breakfast were large and was very delicious! So glad we found this place during our short visit to the city. View menu

Loved this place. Visited with my wife last weekend. She has a couple of allergies and they were very flexible in support. Quality of ingredients was impressive and made all the difference. I can see why the place was so packed.

Great food, great service. However, if you try to pay with plastic, you are 'punished ' by being sent to the far side of the bar to wait in line with people picking up to go orders. The lady at the front 'cash only ' podium also flashes you a look of disdain.

I never had a better experience in a restaurant than I did here!! the staff was absolutely AMAZING and so funny, and the food was also from this world, and the Mimosas were perfect. if you are looking to eat somewhere in New York, you will not regret coming here!!! View menu

A classic American Diner in the heart of Manhattan since 1980. We ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches and than regular coffees and enjoyed our time over green seats. You can find whatever you like in their menu. Brekfast, Lunch or Dinner, doesn’t matter; you’ll find something to eat that suits you. By the way; service was great also.

I had an excellent breakfast experience here this morning with my wife and son. The service was outstanding—very friendly, quick, and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of. The food exceeded my expectations; it was worth much more than what they charge. I tried the Californian Benedict, which was a fantastic twist on traditional Eggs Benedict. We also ordered Nutella pancakes and poached eggs on toast, both of which were equally delightful. If you find yourself near Astros in Midtown, I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast when you’re in New York; you won’t be disappointed!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
