"We arrived in Duino and this was the only restaurant open. The locals didn't seem to recommend it either. On arrival, it is a bit of a strange place in terms of decor but we instantly hit a rapport with the waiter, who was very good fun throughout. The food was delicious, beer was very good and so too the wine. I cannot believe how little the bill was either. Overall, excellent food and value for money. Don't listen to the locals and don't let the decor fool you!"

It is a quite cheap, simple restaurant. Food is ok, the menu is quite concentrated on seafood. The (supposed) owner is quite grumpy, two young waitresses are kinder. May be ok for a quick unpretentious meal. View menu

Just had a nice lunch with 3 friends there last sunday. We had seafood risotto, seafood pasta and pizzas. The service was pretty good, so were the food. The decor of the restaurant might be pretty strange or almost vintage style, but the food makes up for it. Food is nice, and its a good value restaurant. Recommended!

We had dinner there, but there were a lots of mosquitos and we could only sit inside (change tables) if we pay double price for the table. The owner said that it is not their problem. The spagetti was not so delicious but we ate it because we were so hungry. After complaining they did not even say sorry. The waitresses were really Nice by the way, but this place is not for the tourists, they do not really care if you come back.
