"If you enjoy the atmosphere of a hometown, locally owned restaurant, this is definitely a spot to check out. It has a charming, rustic kitchen vibe reminiscent of Grandma's cooking. The food is outstanding! In my opinion, the omelettes are exceptional, with the perfect balance of ingredients. The bacon is fantastic—thin and crispy, just the way I like it! The pancakes are also delicious and incredibly flavorful. The over-easy eggs are cooked to perfection. Carry and Barb are among the finest breakfast chefs I’ve encountered, period. At 50 years old, I've had breakfast in numerous places both locally and nationally. Since I live only about three miles from the restaurant, I try to stop by once or twice a week after discovering it. It's truly one of Pittsburgh's hidden local gems. This is the kind of small, local place where if you know how good it is, you know—and you'll remember..."

Delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and affordable prices. The coffee could use some improvement, though.

Went years ago never went back. I just read a review from a husband and wife that were refused seating because of having a service dog. We will never go back now. Thanks for your service Mr. Veteran.

The sign says "Please be seated," so we did just that, right in plain view. After waiting for 15 minutes without any acknowledgment, we decided to leave and head to Bob's Diner instead. I recommend you do the same! View menu

We stopped in here at lunchtime. Doesn’t matter the time, they still serve breakfast! My husband had eggs over easy, wheat toast, sausage links, and coffee. He said everything was excellent. I had the cheesesteak hoagie, which is on Mancini‘s bread. I was very impressed with the hoagie, it was cooked perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were very fresh and delicious tasting… The whole sandwich was delicious tasting! ?Our waitress, Deb, was was friendly and efficient. We love the ambience of small diners, this one had that wonderful country charm.Bottom line is that we would definitely return again, especially with some of our family in tow ?. Parking: There was parking all along the side of the...

"While staying in the Pittsburgh area a lot over the past year, I've been trying many different places... I love really good Pakistani food, and am not nearly as fond of Indian food, but I came here one night for dinner and absolutely appreciated the owner's service, as well as the food they make here! I tried several things: Vegetable Pakora These unfortunately were sent back because they were slightly over done, but they apologized sincerely for that and removed them from the bill. Vegetable Biryanni Absolutely Excellent! Nice and spicy and loaded with robust, authentic flavors!! This paired with their raita was amazing!!! And wow, was it spicy!! Keema Muttar This was decent, but was a little saucier than I prefer (and than I'm used to). The flavors were excellent! The meat was lamb and there was the slight flavor of that. But overall, it was a decent dish. Bullet Naan I've never heard of this, so I had to try it, especially since it's made with green pepper and supposedly spicy. It was definitely spicy, but their naan was very thin. I actually prefer it thin, so I don't get filled up on bread. The only issues I've got is I eat in the traditional way, with my hands and in order to do so, you fold the naan or roti in half and then break off a piece Well, many of these places cut it into quarters which limits ow you can break off pieces. The other huge gripe I have is that they add ghee or butter to it, thus making it a greasy mess. Aside from those issues, it tasted great. Roti This resembled the bullet naan, but without spices, but with so much greasiness, the last slice was completely soaked and oily. The flavor was decent though. Lastly, He offered me mango lassi and I've not had lassi in probably 35 years, when I was last in Pakistan.... This lassi was very tasty and you could see and taste the fresh mango in it. Overall, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Pittsburgh area so far... I've tried several, but they do it the most authentic and best here. I'd definitely suggest it for those seeking some really good, authentic flavors. I'll be back!"
