"We took a Sunday drive to see if we could find the restaurant, and we did! We decided to stay for dinner, and we had a great time. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent. I had the best country ham I’ve ever tasted in North Carolina, even though I’m from Virginia, where we’re known for having some of the finest hams in the world. It’s hard to find good country ham in North Carolina, but this was exceptional. The restaurant was also very clean, especially considering the big crowd for Sunday dinner. Today's special was pot roast, and it was delicious. We will definitely be back to this spot. Thank you for making our afternoon special!"

Battle Branch Cafe offers some of the finest fresh home-cooked meals, including entrees, vegetables, and desserts. Very little, if anything, is sourced from a can, and there are plenty of healthy options available. You can't beat the prices, along with the warm hospitality from the friendly waitresses and the owner. If you arrive late, it's possible they might run out of the specials for the evening, so it's advisable to come early to snag one of the featured dishes. However, there is still a wide variety of other delicious meals to choose from. This cafe definitely earns my vote for having some of the best comforting, grandma-style cooking around.
